RIP Debbie Reynolds

Legendary singer and actress Debbie Reynolds has died one day after her daughter Carrie Fisher passed away.

2016 will be remembered as the annus horribilis for celebrity deaths.

This is one for us oldies. I realise that I still know the words to 'Tammy' which was her hit song in 1957. Sweet memories.

Re: RIP Debbie Reynolds

To be fair, Debbie had a stroke last June and has been frail ever since. (Yeah... I research this fluffy stuff.)

As more celebrities die, it might be time for EF to have a social event in Zürich where we celebrate LIFE and FRIENDSHIPS.

Feeling the love.....

Wishing you all a warm-hearted, easier 2017.

My mum used to sing that one.

The word 'legend' gets bandied about so easily, but Debbie Reynolds was one. When you've danced in a starring role with Gene Kelly, and you real life love rival was Elizabeth Taylor, it's a different league. I love the story about how she patched up her differences with Taylor on the Queen Elizabeth and they got drunk together. She was a classy lady.

No family should have to bury mother and daughter together.

Re: RIP Debbie Reynolds

Yeah, we seem to have celebrities a dime a dozen, but real stars? They're a dying breed.
