Back to the OP. There have been less than a handful of incidents of right wing attacks in the last 5 years. No one has been "emboldened" by Trump. This is a non-issue.
Don't even pretend that you know that as a fact. Time will tell re: the "emboldened".

Well, yes, because it's a fork of Wikipedia, with the purpose of creating a "bias free" information repository. They are changing almost everything in the code base (which is circa 1995, with many layers of cruft piled upon cruft). In time, it should become a completely different beast and (hopefully) remain politically neutral. Time will tell.

There will be other forks, or completely new challenges to some of the other firms that are clearly biased. Gab.AI launched last year to challenge Twitter, and seems to be doing phenomenally well. Personally, I do not like censorship of any kind, and as I have learned more about how Wikipedia and Twitter work, it really pisses me off!

Lest you think I am a far-Righter, I voted for Obama twice, Clinton twice (Bill), Reagan and Bush I and II. So I guess I have followed the Winners. I think that makes me a moderate who is now fed up with the status quo, Fake News and corruption on all sides of the political spectrum.

Not trying to pick a fight with you, Cyrus, as I have seen your posts for years. But I do think there is a lot of obfuscation going on from BOTH sides and I am sorely disappointed with the democrats. The GOP is rebuilding, and whether you like them or not, jettisoning the NeoCons is a good move.

Oh dear, just been looking at that infogalactic website. It's just takes wikipeadia pages and presents them as their own, rewriting all links internally!

https://infogalactic.com/info/Elephant
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elephant

It then strategically replaces pages as it sees fit, giving the appearance of a complete wiki.

Let's see the article they replaced :

Are you talking about forking the codebase, or the content? The codebase is shareable, the content has various, mostly open source licenses, but different to the codebase. Content from wikipedea should be attributed to the authors

You try to imply it's innocent, it isn't. Nowhere on any page is it clear where the content came from.

What it is, is someone taking a great big encyclopedia, taking the covers off it, replacing certain articles with their own, and trying to give the same level of legitimacy to their own articles as the stuff they've plagiarised from Wikipedia.

Once you learn how the alt right work, it will piss you off even more, it's misinformation, misdirection and just outright lies all down the line.

It's ironic that a page that tries to be about ethics, lives on a site where 99.9999999% of the content is stolen from another source.

EDIT: Look at what happens if you use the "cite this page" button https://infogalactic.com/w/index.php...ephant&id=5763. It lists the author as infogalactic.

So we have:

Jo Cox
Dylan Roof
Quebec
Wisconsin Sikh temple attack

So like I said, not even a handful in 5 years. This isn't an issue. It's something that has been made up to try and bracket conservative beliefs with neo nazis.

A few more then you state, listed on wiki alone. OK
not in the last 5, but this is just America! And until 2015 after 9/11 right wing attacks caused more fatalities then Islamofascists did.

America's tally of shows 18 instances of right-wing terrorist attacks causing fatalities since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. These were the 2015 Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood shooting (3 killed), the 2015 Charleston church shooting (9 killed), the 2014 ambush attack on Las Vegas police officers (5 killed), the 2014 Overland Park Jewish Community Center shooting in Kansas (3 killed), the 2014 Pennsylvania State Police barracks attack in Blooming Grove, Pennsylvania (1 killed), a 2012 tri-state killing spree by white supremacists, David Pedersen and Holly Grigsby (4 killed), a 2012 ambush of St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana police (2 killed), the 2012 Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting (6 killed), the 2011 FEAR group attacks (3 killed); a murder in 2010 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania (1 killed), a 2010 suicide attack by airplane in Austin, Texas (1 killed), the 2009 shooting of Pittsburgh police officers (3 killed); the 2009 United States Holocaust Memorial Museum shooting (1 killed), the 2009 assassination of George Tiller (1 killed), the 2009 murders of Raul and Brisenia Flores in Pima County, Arizona (2 killed), the 2009 murders in Brockton, Massachusetts (2 killed), the 2008 Knoxville Unitarian Universalist church shooting (2 killed), and the 2004 bank robbery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.[38]

Re: All about the alt-right (in the wake of anti-Muslim shooting)

Noticed you left this bit out from Wiki:

As of July 2016, the New America Foundation placed the number killed in terrorist attacks in the U.S. (since 9/11) as follows: 94 were killed in jihadist terrorist attacks, 50 were killed in far-right attacks, and 5 were killed in far-left attacks.[38]

So Muslims make up 1% of the US population yet jihadist attacks have killed almost double the amount of people (94) as far right attacks have (50).
Which threat seems bigger?

TBH lefties have never really done any sort of mass killing - as long as you discount Mengistu (400-1500k), Kim Il Sung (1.6m), Pol Pot (1.7m), Stalin (23m) and Mao Zedong (48-78m).

(I apologise for the Godwinist examples, speaking of which Hitler - that loveable alt-right pin up - clocked a mere 17m, showing a disappointing lack of commitment to the cause.)

Re: All about the alt-right (in the wake of anti-Muslim shooting)

They have forked the codebase AND the content. And to your statement about it not being clear where the content comes from, on the bottom of EVERY page (except the landing page as this has nothing to do with Wikipedia), this appears:

Content is available under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License unless otherwise noted.
This article's content derived from Wikipedia, the Free Encyclopedia (See original source).

I don't think they could be any clearer and I know that a LOT of time was spent to make sure EVERYTHING is squeaky clean.

I am well aware of what the Alt-right is about, thank you very much. Lots of elements of the GOP and Dem parties that I don't approve of, either. But I am not ALT-Right, and here I am talking about my support for the ALT-Tech movement, which is challenging some behemoths of the industry. I do believe that when people realize how they are being manipulated by Wikipedia, Twitter, FB, Google and many of the others, they will choose an alternative that neither censors nor supports a clearly political bias.

Totally agree but it was in response to Loz1983's post which gives a parameter of the last 5 years, so unless someone dug up your leftie psychopaths and they've massacred another load of people since 2012...

I was just questioning whether these dodgy modern-day jihadists are really modelling themselves on libtards but with a murderous twist.

This wiki page is inaccurate. To say the 2014 Las Vegas shootings was a result of Right Wing Terrorism is disingenuous at best. The same applies to a number of the other incidents.

Neo Nazis and White Supremacists have been around for ages. There are no more of them now then there ever were. And they are no more or less of a threat now either.

What about the Jews in Germany? They were Nazis too?!
The exact amount of Jews who were in the party is unknown as most records were destroyed, the most comprehensive studies to this topic are to be found int the booklet “Who was a Nazi” printed in 1947 and “the Nazi party” printed in 1982, a good guess would be that by 1945 about three quarters of all Gemans were regular paid up members in the NSDAP, add to that the Hitlerjugend, the BDM, the NS Frauenschaft and the NS Wohlfahrt, the NS Motor corps (now known as the ADAC) and all other organisations, Vereine, Unions, Media etc. that after the Gleichschaltung became part of the Nationalsocialist state, you get almost 100 percent, regardless if you were one of the surviving Jews.
People today simply can´t comprehend how invasive and overpowering the influence of the Nationalsozialistic state was on society, so yes, I do think that there were nazi jews, Jews fought in the Wehrmacht for instance under the Mischlings laws.
But for most part you can not look at Jews as Germans after the passing of the Nürnberger laws in 1934 where "the eternal Jew" was stripped of German statehood.
