Six months after the fire, this is a very moving film about one aspect of how people are still affected.

Re: London Tower Block Fire

Is KPMG really appropriate and best suited to supervise the enquiry?

Probably not, which is why they're not doing it any more.

Re: London Tower Block Fire

"Pop star Lily Allen, two Labour MPs - Clive Lewis and Emma Dent-Coad - and a host of academics and campaigners had earlier signed an open letter to Theresa May urging the prime minster to reverse KPMG's appointment."

There's the problem right there. And then you have David Lammy saying the Judge should be black or brown.

An inquiry is set up to find out what happened and to ensure the same doesn't happen again. It's not a political vendetta.

Back when I worked there, we had a saying that it either meant:

"Kinder prüfen mein Geschäft" - Kids are auditing my business
or
"Keiner prüft mehr genau" - Nobody is auditing that closely

Milan had a similar fire, fortunately no casualties.
Must be thousands of similar cladding installations across the world.
News on Grenfell is it will be demolished.

"A Housing Ministry spokesperson says there’ll be no change to the tower before the fifth anniversary of the fire in June next year."
