Stiff and buried deep in a box one last time.
It's what he would have wanted.

It would be amazing to see what these two will be able to do for each other in afterlife.

I'll grant he was a bit of a pioneer with his magazine, but to me he was a shallow individual that didn't really value women as human beings. Just as sex objects. The idea so many men here and that I know in real life think he's some sort of hero that "lived the dream" is a big gross, tbh. That's your dream? Wow.

Kind of an interesting disconnect. Big advocate for civil rights and racial equality, but kind of missing the point on women. Whatever.

Uhhh! Hell yes! Driving in an open top Jag E-type in the south of France, the car filled with half naked chicks gasping at my manlyness as they run their fingers through my chest hair toupet. Add motorbikes, boats, large caliber guns and beer into the equation and you really get the dream.

Bette Midler sums him up rather well:

"Hugh Hefner will be laid to rest next to Marilyn Monroe. It'll be the 1st time in decades hes slept near a woman his own age."

Hmmm, you're judging someone elses dream (and I'm sure loads of people did, which makes it even more remarkable that he managed to live his).

Yes, his dream and life comes accross as shallow - which is why woman like you and I didn't share it/try to live there - but those who did all did it for their reasons. I've not heard about constraint in connection with his bunnies? Woman are different too and when you look around, there is a surprising amount of them who don't want to be independent, self-sufficient or even self-responsible.

@slammer, you possibly wouldn't last a month. LOL.

Too right for most men. The thing is he did exactly want he wanted to and lived his life in the way he chose. No one dictated to him, he was simply the boss in a believed paradise existance.

It is given as the dream because most men believe it to be, whether most men could actually last and survive in that environment is another question. Or whether they'd even want to after a taste of it. It's an unachievable fantasy, but it's fun to look up to and imagine.

And he lived it!! The reasons why the girls are with him, can be debated, but they are still there.
