WW3 Again? Heck this is getting boring.

Wait! What? The Saudis shoot down a Yemeniti ballistic missile over the capital? A missile built in Yemen? Them buggers can´t build toilets, bet it was a Iranian missile with a Yemen flag on it.

Bet you haven't read the article properly, if so you'd have known the answer to your question, and no this is not so weird, has happened before and will happen again.

You seem to know a lot about the region.. like what Saudi does in Yemen (and other countries in the area)

Hardly surprising that they are getting back something after all that.

Saudi's got their hands full at the moment anyway. Massive purge underway at the very moment.

So long as they place their oil IPO on the New York Stock Exchange then everything will be forgiven

Edit;

Would very much appreciate Saudi Arabia doing their IPO of Aramco with the New York Stock Exchange. Important to the United States!

From the BBC link "The rebel group is believed to have access to a stockpile of Scud ballistic missiles and home-grown variants.". Captured from the original government I believe.

Re: WW3 Again? Heck this is getting boring.

Perhaps it's nothing but an awful lot has happened in the last few days to suggest it's not:

Lebanon PM has resigned blaming an assassination plot against him and accusing Iran and Hezbollah
11 princes, four sitting ministers and dozens of ex-ministers in Saudi are arrested
Saudis "intercept a missle"
Trump banging on about Iran threat
Trump urging Saudi Aramco listing in US

Yemen fielded the Scud B and C, both are basically souped up German V2 rockets with go faster strips. But they had to come from somewhere. So that leaves either Iran or North Korea. Could be also Egypt, Pakistan, Israel or Syria.
But as the North Korea missile program was financed by Iran I would say they came from North Korea. In my humble opinion that would make perfect strategic sense if Iran wanted to rattle the Saudi´s cage.

Vice magazine agrees source is probably North Korea

It must be shocking to be sitting cozily in Riyadh and hear the massive boom of missile exploding, fortunately not blowing up your local airport, or sitting room. Which makes me think that it might clear some Americans minds wonderfully if they had a border with North Korea.

And the US has just approved of a 15 billion sale of anti missile missiles last month. The board room at Lockeed Martin must be rank with shareholder money boners.

Probably, no way this could be connected to "The purge, Saudi edition!"

Its pretty terrible that the Saudi government is effectively doing the same thing in Yemen, targeting civilians, civilian infrastructure and basically being supported by the US and UK governments and Arms trade. So what do they expect? No retaliation.
