| | Re: Fidel Castro ha muerto [is dead] | Quote: | | | | | THE report I can find says that the Defence Minister has died.
However, ever considered what Saudi Arabia and Cuba have in common ? Easy, both countries are lead by a group of gentlemen of between age 75 and 90
And back to Fidel Castro "those who are proclaimed dead live longer" | | | | | About "both countries are lead by a group of gentlemen of between age 75 and 90"
Quick guide for deciding if a country is a brutal dictatorship;
Is the country led by a group of gentlemen aged between age 65 and 90?
Answer if yes is yes.
Examples, in addition to above Iran, Iraq (no longer), Egypt (no longer), North Korea, &&&&&

The most famous example of an old democrat was Konrad Adenauer in West Germany who started as Federal Chancellor in 1949 at the age of 73 and resigned from office in 1963 at the age of 87 . He was CDU party-chief until 1966 (age 90) and passed away in 1967 .
And Iraq ? Hussein al-Takriti (Saddam Hussein) was only 69 when he was killed.
And you may look at General Charles de Gaulle who was 68 when he in 1958 became State President of the newly formed 5th Republic and was 78 when he in 1968 resigned. And was NOT a dictator.

I hope he is not dead and lives for a while. I have always been a fan of him and regardless of what my government says about him I think he was a great leader. Long live Castro and Cuba.

Only the idea with the Autobahns was so un-green.

People want more confortable lives but liberation from colonists stays on Castros records. Most poeple want to move on, yes, but noone regrets to have liberated the country back then.

I personally preferred Blue Hawaii, tho' I do have my suspicions that Angela Lansbury isn't really Elvis's mother | The following 3 users would like to thank for this useful post: | |

I find it strange how one post from a spammer (deleted almost instantly) has generated so many replies on a five-year-old thread |
