1. I've never been head of the W.I. and a reknowned & respected 'old woman of the CofE High Church'.
2. I've never gone on a work trip and got pregnant by a guy young enough to be my son.
I think she beats me hands down in the rum bugger department. | This user would like to thank Blueangel for this useful post: | |

My race has nothing whatsoever to do with 99% of transactions with the people that ask that question, so stuff the lot of them. | | | | | Are you saying, there are companies who ask for one's race in their questionaries? Where? In GB?

The " royal family " are parasites. | Quote: | | | | | She is also fairly liberal, which has also upset the likes of the Mail and Express and their commentardiat. For instance the lovely Brendan O'Neill has got a bit triggered in the Spectator:

I find it a bit sinister myself.

Tom | | | | | Not if the create employment for others.
The Royal family help boost Britain's foreign tourist industry. They are a huge draw.
You Americans apparently love that sort of thing and come over in your droves to marvel at our palaces, castles and pageantry.

| | Re: [Prince] Harry and Meghan | Quote: | | | | | The " royal family " are parasites. | | | | | Nah, they're not. The Crown Estate pays a lot more into the treasury than the queen gets back. As far as I'm aware the rest of the family are independently wealthy and most of them have jobs too.
I'm no supporter of the monarchy, but it does offer value for money when compared to a presidential system - in the UK at least.
I've no idea why you lot haven't ditched the queen, though. You're like a bunch of teenagers: happy to whinge about mummy, but still want your washing done at the weekend.

On the other hand it would support DB's mummy-theory: She patiently watches the children's headless trials at politics. LOL.

There's no hope for Britain.

Trump is a dick, but after four years he can be booted out of office.

There's all the usual options, then one names 'Other...' where I used to write 'Not applicable', but now I write 'None of your business'. Brits tend to be good at dealing with crap like this, which is why Jedi is now on the Census list and also how Rage Against The Machine - 'Killing In The Name' became the Christmas 2009 No.1. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/1589133.stm |
