Take aways from the interview with Oprah:
- the firm is bad
- don't ever mention a child's possible skin colour
- Meghan was suicidal
- Harry's a decent guy
- Charles can be a dick
- The queen is lovely
- Harry and Meghan aren't that rich (apart from the 30 million dollars he received from his mother)
- Charles, William and Kate are trapped
- The firm spreads lies or doesn't counteract them.

Apparently they were paid $7,000,000 for the interview.
I don’t see how anyone can take their comments without an enormous grain of salt.
I doubt they would have got 1 penny if they didn’t play the victims.

Will be interesting to see what happens. Meghan and Harry were being deliberately obtuse - "someone in the royal family had a problem but we won't say who..." which is kind of maximum cowardice because it tars everyone, but then again, if the royal family have a problem with someone's skin colour or won't help someone who is suicidal then they have a lot to answer.
Someone isn't telling the truth, so it will come down to a couple with a good CV in communications and 10 or so million under their belt to spend on it vs a Company worth a heck of a lot more than that, the Royal Family, who will have some of the top PR people around looking to retaliate.
We can wait and see.

Royalty/monarchy, repugnant institution in modern times
When you consider all that is going on in the world today, it beggars belief that the trials & tribulations of privileged elites is a topic of interest

It's always been this way during the last century. Celebrity/VIP gossip culture will always be of interest no matter what is going on in the world and often is proves an interesting or entertaining diversion and distraction from the misery of peoples actual lives during a pandemic.

Is it really racist to wonder what a child's colour will be?
My wife is caucasian at the fairest end of the spectrum, I am a mix of a bunch of races, but I'm clearly not caucasian. So when she was pregnant, many people, friends, relatives, etc. wondered out loud what my daughter's hair colour would be, will she have my wife's colour, or my colour? We were happy discussing this and took it as something really nice that people are so happy and interested in our child. Never for a moment I thought it was racist.
Am I to understand now that all these people are racists?
And the way Oprah reacted to this statement .. shock and "oh my god..."...

Whatever their motives for going on Oprah are, it is really unsavoury to be hanging all your dirty laundry for the entire world to hear and see. Maybe it’s not so bad if one would stand to rake in millions and have a priceless amount of publicity from it |

How very dare you sir. Every babypersons parents should be allowed to interpret their childs gender wishes by the age of 2 and act accordingly.

It’s clear the Queen is still on the throne as she hopes to outlive Charles.
It is also clear that the monarchy is struggling to modernise. Highlight of the 21st century has been Pippa‘s bum | This user would like to thank Sean Connery for this useful post: | |

And the way Oprah reacted to this statement .. shock and "oh my god..."... | | | | | Megan is hardly black!
I have 2 nephews. One married a 100% black Jamaican girl, the other‘s wife had a 100% Barbadian mother and white father.
They were of course welcomed into our family and today they have 5 children between them. Yes, of course we speculated about how the babies would look before they were born.
Insecure Megan was pathetically miss-playing the race card in desperation aided and abetted by multi-millionaire Oprah...
