I guess as this thread is about measles, it should be that stat that applies, which the OECD puts at 95% in Switzerland in 2017.
Curious to know if the stats making up the non-vaccinated include anti-vaxxers as well as medically unfit unvaccinated people. | | | | | As far as I know, the stats only collect the number of people who received a vaccination, not the number of vaccinations that were succesful or effective.
So the number of effectively unvaccinated individuals could well be slightly higher than those 5 percent.
Add to this the potential affects of people living here only temporarily, or tourists and other individuals whoe stay is of ultra short duration, and actually probably nobody has an accurate grip on the real proportions and dynamics, just estimates.

Haven't read the thread, and apologies if I'm repeating, but
- We're all responsible adults and / or parents
- who on earth would put their childrens' health into play

There's a book that the anti-vaccination folks have been pushing called IMPFEN PRO & CONTRA... It's ... weak. I mean, this makes sense for the children without livers, or the children with broken livers? Children with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease? Children with liver transplants? Or severe genetic problems?
That's why much of Central Europe has moved up the MMR vaccine. It used to be at 15 months and then right before school. The last few outbreaks has meant more deaths and the vaccination is now encouraged to be done earlier around 9 months and 15-18 months. Under 4 years is unfortunately the age when healthy kids can die of measles.

Just have a school with no vaccination requirements. Everybody can enjoy their diseases in peace. |

Or did you mean "curved"? | | | | | I always assumed that the whole thing was a simple misunderstanding based on a spelling error and it's, in fact, "how many angles fit on the head of a pin".
The answer is then, an infinite number. (Actually, uncountably infinite[1] if we assume the angles are described by real numbers.)
[1] By which I mean that there cannot be a bijection between the set of angles (on the head of a pin) and the set of natural numbers.

Which direction of curvature do you mean?
Is this a euclidean or a non euclidean pin?

Or did you mean "curved"? | | | | | We also need to know the physics of angels. Are they subject to gravity? Can they hang upside down, like wasps?
Also, do the angels need to be standing directly on the pinhead? Can we stack them?

Is this a euclidean or a non euclidean pin? | | | | | I thought discussion of curvature was off limits, for fear of upsetting the tinfoil hat brigade.
I doubt anyone uses 2,300-year-old pins to store their angels. Modern ones would be more reliable, and come with a guarantee.

But for this the aspect of a right is key, it's not just some kind of permission you can suspend relatively easily (as can happen with a drivers license, for example).
