I guess if you're a bible-bashing creationist you'll be cockahoop.

Far worse.

Fortunately, Trump will make it through a second term.

I bet it can. Trump is an unpredictable narcissistic idiot. He does a lot of harm and frankly stupid things... but he does not have that deep of an evil agenda.

Pence on the other hand cant be underestimated in his extremism. He was on the ticket to make the crackpots vote for Trump, not to actually take over the job...

I think the best scenario is that any impeachment proceedings drag on into the election. Trump's ego won't let him step down, and he will insist on running, but some Republicans will not vote for him even if they do hold their noses.

If Trump gets thrown out, then Pence will run for prez. He's managed to stay distanced from most of the hullabaloo, so the Republicans will support him fully.

Give it time. I don't think anyone on the inner circle is immune to the dung splashing off the proverbial fan.

What on earth do you think the "deep state" conspiracy meme is all about?

Re: Will Pence be a good President?

He'd be terrible; literally Hitler with a dog collar. Trump is at least comedy gold.

Ideal thing to happen is that the Democrats get the slimmest of majorities in Congress and then both branches stalemate each other until 2020. (Governments, especially the US one, tend to do best when they can do nothing...)
