A caveman diet would include cannabalism, which is definitely not vegan and would also help with the human over-population.

that's not correct. cannabalism could be vegan as veganism clearly refers to avoiding animal food.

it's actually a nice topic for discussion if you meet a vegan.

The thing I like about most vegans is their balanced views and tendency to never ever preach...
To be fair though we only see only the messianistas, the quiet ones aren't heard of. I'd agree that the former appear to be the vast majority but still, the latter may be far more numerous.

this is rather rude. global warming also comes from excessive meat and dairy consumption so its relevant.
Do you own a car, heat your apartment above 18? How often do you travel thousands of kilometers for your holidays?

I don't know but there are people that believe that you should not eat omnivore and carnivore animals, so that would be at risk

Re: Drowning in Plastic

This thread reminded me of some old ads about how great plastic is. The ads pretty much imply we should be using more plastic, not less.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gb860qZ40H4

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IJPB9LMNB0

I do think we can each make small changes and they will add up over time. Just because someone else doesn't want to change their behavior doesn't mean I shouldn't change mine.

Plastic is a great material, but use it wisely. Same for other materials like paper, glass, metal, etc. Small changes do count. We cannot force others to change their behaviour, at least not directly, but we are responsible for our own acts.

True- but what it that makes veganfunlover's views so 'extreme'? And in what way are they 'sad'?

Is it just because they label themself as 'vegan', and all the baggage that comes with doing so?

The meat- eating zealots on this thread have been much more extreme In their comments, to the point of completely going off- topic in hopes of antagonizing the vegan.

Did slave owners used to gang together to antagonize the extremist abolitionists? I wonder...

Another sad extremist:

Edit: I agree, however, tht veganfunlover takes it too far by trying to inject veganism as a topic with near every post on every thread
