Roegner: did all of your Indian colleagues actually apply and got hired through a Swiss company? Happy to know they pay taxes, definitely a plus but not the issue we are discussing here. Issue is: there are major IT partners providing services to Swiss-based multinationals. These IT partners are allocating their own "offshore" resources to work temporarily in Switzerland and the way they do this does not start from any individual application as far as I know, I assume it's the company itself sorting out the paperwork etc. This is what the Swiss voters had in mind when thinking about immigration regulations I guess, or at least pass me it is a slightly misleading way to operate.
