Will Johnson be a good Prime Minister?

Now that he's won, how do you think his premiership will be?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that he's going to be an utter disaster

He might surprise us...

(Oh no. Hang on, scratch that. No he won't).

Like a man contemplating the rancid sausage he just found festering in the back of the fridge, I fear the wurst.

I always thought that Boris Johnson was a comedy character played by Donald Trump.

All he has to do is implement Brexit (at whatever the cost to Parliament if not the country) by the 31st of October and he'll have won my eternal admiration. Nothing more is required.

Will there be a similar number of meltdowns as a result of Boris becoming PM as is with Trump?

Sure thing! Buckle up Buckaroos!

Well, I am sure you've made yourself a bucket of popcorn already. Its car crash TV at its finest. Of course BJ is an undemocraticly elected PM who seems happy to sink the ship at the cost of the economy and Britains credibility.

But hey ho. What can we do but actually say something about it.

It's certainly put a different spin on the usual meaning of the abreviation "BJ"

3 of the last 4 and 13 out of the last 25 PMs have taken office without winning a General Election. Save me the undemocratic lamentings.

I see this thread has already attracted the usual suspects. Such a waste a decent conversation could be possible, but alas ...

True enough, but the others May aside were not on the cusp of a monumental geopolitical decision. BJ has already stated his objective, I’m pretty sure he will continue to do everything he can to push his no deal through. Even against all rational advice and evidence it’s going to go tits up.
