If it weren't for you, I wouldn't even know about it. LOL.
Next time add links, I hate wasting my time on googling stuff that nope, to me does not matter.

It won't get the press off their backs though.
I would quit that job too if I were born into it, hell I would take a last minute change of goal reincarnating when noticing where I'm heading.

And just because you say so......

Religion is a personal choice, but if you choose to live a part of the world where a particular religion dominates then you will have to learn to deal with it.

A president or constitutional monarch, with the exception of the UK, most European countries get happily by with either as they generally function in the same manner.

The problem in the UK as we have seen in the past three years, is the lack of an agreed democratic process and an ability to enforce it. It remains to be seen how many more crisis it will take before the general public finally rejects the "lets make it up as we go along" democracy.

We'll be talking about it for years. It's simply a gold mine in the hands of the press. Mortgages will be payed out of the news and rumours generated by this move...

It's a serious deterrance from the news about conflict in the Middle East. The world needs something romantic to hang on for a change.

There are not the same religions in the same parts of the world over different time periods so I guess someone must be "dealing with it".

I assume you meant, because of the simple fact above that religions change over time, that "deal with it" is in the manner of the Crusades, or ISIS?

Religion is never personal.

Which (true or not) has got nothing whatsoever to do with the question of royalty, so not sure why you post it here. Please keep such matters in the existing threads related to it.

Megxit.

Queen consults EU for tips on how to make it difficult for people to leave your organisation

Furious that her grandson and his tart of a wife want to leave the family business the Queen has approached former EU chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier to get some tips on how to delay the exit process as much as possible.

“Firstly, hide your disappointment and anger,” said Barnier. “Tell them that of course they can leave, but that you need to negotiate terms.

“It is then during this negotiating process where you can throw all sorts of spanners in the works.

“Look for divisions between the members of the leaving party. For example, you could say ‘if you leave you cannot dress up as Nazis.’

“Meghan won’t mind this but Harry would be upset.

“Or perhaps ‘you can leave but you won’t get Wimbledon tickets.’ Harry wouldn’t care but Meghan would be devastated.

Re: Megxit

I don't blame them. The UK tabloid media is one of the most heinous pack of jackals in the world of press, with zero ethics or morals. They destroy lives, they destroyed his mother, and he doesn't want the same to happen to him or Meghan. If I were them I would also get as far away from the UK and that stifling and stuffy royal environment as I could too.

I doubt it.

Rebels. Good for them. It's not too sexy to have to follow the protocol. At. All. Times.

I bet they did it for the kid, have less exposure.

Expecting the population of a particular region to adjust to suit you does not work. So you either except it or go somewhere else.

Of course it has in response to the suggestion that the royals should be gone by now... it’s the reason they are kept around in other countries - their role as constitutional monarchies.

And that was someone "beloved". Meghan has never stood a chance. Plus there's the new baby situation. Hard enough without the world criticising every move (yes I know she can afford a lot of help but still).

Probably this. He has seen what the press did to his mother... it prevented him having a full military career and then there was the treatment of his wife... there is no reason to put his son through that, it’s not as if he will ever have a significant role in the future.
