Paternity leave in Switzerland one of the lowest in Europe

Switzerland should really improve in that respect!

It ranked the UK, Ireland, Greece, Cyprus and Switzerland the lowest of 31 "rich countries".

Finland to give dads same parental leave as mums https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-51384614

Finland also has 24% VAT and easily above 40% of your income towards tax and social contributions.

Money is not everything. Cost of living also much lower and apparently very family oriented land. Not talking about taxes but social aspects.

Topping the ranks as any other Scandinavian country.

More as in everything comes with a price, if we raise the tax for all than people can stay home longer. Or like they do now they just take some time of unpaid, which mostly is no problem since we have the highest free spendable income of Europe (dunno about Liechtenstein tho).

It's nice in a way those socialist states, but the price is imho to high, I prefer the Swiss system. Earn a lot and pay yourself if you want more.
