Either she lied or was mistaken when she made the accusations, in which case the least she owes Biden is a public apology, or she has agreed to shut up, in which case she is putting her career before the truth.

Neither is a pretty message for the millions of people in America who were genuinely victims of sexual abuse, and who maybe think the old white men in Washington aren't doing enough about it.

Says who? The voters get to decide every four years. While recent presidents have mostly been voted for two terms, it's not a guaranteed thing by law or any stretch of the imagination.

I disagree. She lost because she acted entitled to the job and didn't take Trump or his supporters seriously. She largely ignored swing states in the Midwest, assuming she had them wrapped up without effort. She had too much baggage and bitterness from her run against Obama. Many voters who would normally vote democrat simply stayed home, partly because they didn't like her but partly because they figured she'd win anyway.

It was not supposed to make anything better.

The daggers are out and Harris is being thoroughly examined with any flaws being posted on FB, Twitter and the opinion pages of newspapers. She's going to need some tough skin to get through this.

Biden picking Harris as his VP has essentially guaranteed Trump to win again.

Biden has alienated a large portion of the Left as Harris' record as a prosecutor is abysmal. A few examples being withholding exculpatory for a black man she prosecuted who was on death row, and over 1500 prison sentences for personal marijuana users, many of whom were from the black and minority communities.

The Left currently have a big campaign saying Black lives matter and "All Cops are #astards", now Biden chooses a prosecutor who stands for the complete opposite to what many on the Left are campaigning for. Meanwhile on the Trump side, Trump has done more for prison reform than anyone in living memory.

Trump will win a landslide.

She didn't accuse him of being a predator. This is what she had said about Biden in regard to the women who had said that Biden had made them uncomfortable:

As a woman herself, and as a past district attorney who had once defended rape victims, Harris may have felt a sense of obligation to give some degree of credit to the allegations, rather than to instinctively dismiss them as being false (which, in my opinion, is completely understandable). Wouldn't it be more eyebrow-raising if she had just instinctively NOT believed those women?

I think you can simultaneously believe that the women felt uncomfortable AND that Biden had innocent intentions (or none at all) with whatever he did. As an example, a guy could put his hand on my shoulder without there being anything sexual at all about it, in regard to his intentions, but if I didn't like the guy or thought he was just creepy in general, then I would perceive his hand on my shoulder as making me uncomfortable; whereas if someone who I did not think was creepy did the exact same thing, it would not make me uncomfortable at all.
