Of course he need to provide evidence, this is why he wants to go to court. If he doesnít go to court, then his claims will be empty.

ďWhy didnít this alleged fraud favour the Democrats in the Senate and House?Ē - I donít know, possibly Trumps evidence (if any) could answer this.
So letís see the evidence.

Putting aside just for a moment Trumpís personal qualities, would you think that his claims of the election fraud could be valid in any way? Trump claims that there was a lot of very alarming incidents of fraud, and he is ready to demonstrate this in courts. This is how the democratic system should be working, isnít it? From what I have read, Trump didnít concede yet because he believes that massive fraud had happened and he is ready to prove this. I am not saying his claims are true, we cannot know if this is true or not until his side is heard. I believe that people should be alarmed about these claims and take them very seriously. There are many countries where the elections are being used as a political show to support corrupt rulers. Trump or no Trump, the integrity of the election process is very important and should be confirmed.

I think it is difficult to separate Trumpís personal qualities from the election fraud claims. He says he is ready to demonstrate fraud in courts, and yet the actions are dismissed out of hand, and heís having a difficult time retaining attorneys. Trump has not conceded because he hates to loose. And heís a master of distraction....as are his people. So distract, rile up the masses, make the transition as messy as possible.

Certainly, serious instances of election fraud should be investigated. However, given that courts seem to be unwilling to hear these claims for the most part suggests that either they have no merit or there is a massive conspiracy between disparate US courts.

The former is more likely than the latter.

Biden needs to go to the supreme court seeking a Writ of mandamus be issued to US Government officials. Not Trump, who would ignore it anyway.

Have any of the officials actually stated that they are unwilling to honour the end of the Trump presidency and the start of Bidens on the 20th of January?

My understanding was that the writ can only be issued when someone has either not performed a required action, or explicitly refuses to do so in the future.

Latest from the Front.
Quote:
President Donald Trump’s campaign has dramatically scaled back its federal lawsuit challenging the election results in Pennsylvania.
Edit; Trump’s campaign on Sunday dropped the allegation that 682,479 mail-in and absentee ballots were illegally processed without its representatives watching.

The retrenched version of the suit filed late Sunday morning with a federal court in Williamsport, Pa., withdrew the request for relief over the poll-watching allegations and now focuses solely on varying practices by county officials for handling mail-in ballots that lacked an internal secrecy envelope or otherwise ran afoul of the state’s election rules.

The legal move appears to narrow the number of votes at stake in the federal suit to a few thousand or less. Officials in one suburban Philadelphia county, Montgomery, said at a court hearing earlier this month that they believe about 93 ballots were “cured.”

With President-elect Joe Biden nearly 69,000 votes ahead of Trump in the Keystone State, the number of cured ballots seems likely to be too small to matter.
Source

The problem with this case, and the other Trump cases, is that they are very flimsy. To have success in a court case the lawyers need to have something solid in their hands; currently, it is all smoke and mirrors.

The latest figures show Biden 5.6 million votes ahead of Trump nationally.

I don't believe there will have been any electoral fraud done on a scale to have influenced the final result. I also think the President's claims should be heard in court and not blithely dismissed.
Although if he was able to somehow flip even one state then the seed of discontent would be sown.

The problem is he somehow shot himself in the foot!

Before the election, he recruited many thousands of poll watchers to control the polls were honest.
Now he is trying to claim illegal voting when all his supporters are saying "we were there and saw nothing illegal".

Certainly. But the margins in the states he lost are too large to flip given the legal actions available.

It's not a President's job or responsibility to be entertaining, though.

It's kind of like when you go to a party, and there are two kinds of people -- the loud idiot who has to be the constant center of attention and the quiet, intellectual guy sitting calmly and observing.

I'll take an intelligent, calm, sane and morally intact introvert over that attention-starved psychopath any day.

You are 100% right but as an outsider it is kind of funny to see all the drama. It is also debatable if people on the left are that much saner

In general, I stopped taking life seriously and I try to find comedy in everything

Re: Trump or Biden .Who you got?

I'll have to research specifics but for now it looks like 4 lawsuits have been dropped or re-filed in a different district by the Trump campaign. This is the strategy lately, if one court doesn't do what you want, tweak the suit and file again elsewhere.

https://edition.cnn.com/2020/11/16/p...gia/index.html

One update from PA:
https://apnews.com/article/trump-cam...54c724e1df91e7

It's important to note that even Trump's lawyers have been very careful not to accuse anyone of fraud in court. These lawyers would like to still be allowed to practice in the future.

Oh, I think there are probably plenty of people on the left who have some form of mental health issues or behavioral disorders. What I've actually noticed to be particularly prevalent in the US is a lack of basic logic and critical thinking skills. You have a culture where celebrities are worshiped like gods, where people watch more Judge Judy and Dancing with the Stars than they read books and who never question their own religious beliefs, etc. It's also a culture where a lot of people wear their patriotism like a blindfold and that worships a very "me, me, me" type of mentality.

I guess it's easier to consider Trump to be amusing when you're not an American and you don't care about the ways he has been basically ripping the country apart, habitually lying and empowering himself by generating irrational hatred and divisiveness and not taking the pandemic seriously.

Having a sense of humor is good, of course, but it's all about balance. You can't let that get in the way of also taking things seriously that should be taken seriously.

Re: Trump or Biden .Who you got?

Here's an article on the Wisconsin lawsuit. Three voters filed suit to three counties in their entirety from the statewide official count:
https://eu.jsonline.com/story/news/p...ed/6311020002/

One of the voters apparently claimed that someone else told him the Elections Commission mailed him 10 absentee ballots (i.e. hearsay testimony).

The Elections Commission doesn't send ANY ballots. All ballots are sent by municipal clerks. They don't send 10 ballots to the same person because the computer system says nope, you already sent one.

You don't seem as a person who needs to A. either take life seriously or B. find comedy in all. Those things are so not mutually exclusive.

I had a fantastic line in one of my recent fortune cookies:" Life is a tragedy for those who feel and a comedy for those who think".

I think the problem with that fortune cookie is that it failed to consider the fact that everyone experiences life differently. Somehow I doubt this woman is able to find life to be a comedy even when she thinks.
