There was not a Russian interference investigation, there was a Russian collusion investigation.
The collusion investigation did, according to the Mueller report, find that the Russian government "interfered in the 2016 presidential election in sweeping and systematic fashion" and "violated U.S. criminal law". | | | | | And if Hillary had won, again, would an investigation ever had been initiated? |

A recount monitor in Georgia discovered a 9,626-vote error in the hand recount in DeKalb County, according to the chairman of the Georgia Republican Party.
One of our monitors discovered a 9,626-vote error in the DeKalb County hand count. One batch was labeled 10,707 for Biden and 13 for Trump—an improbable margin even by DeKalb standards. The actual count for the batch was 1,081 for Biden and 13 for Trump,” David Shafer wrote on Twitter on Nov. 18.

Biden’s margin of victory in this batch of votes (99.9%) bested Bashar al-Assad’s 2007 margin (97.6%) and Raul Castro’s 2008 margin (99.4%). It matched Kim Jong-il’s 2009 margin (99.9%). https://www.zerohedge.com/political/...g-hand-recount | This user would like to thank leonie for this useful post: | |

The end result is what matters, not the ups and downs along the way.

Donny hates spending money so will likely be a last-minute decision if he decides at all, or he just lets it fade away. | | | | | I just looked at my clock ,its 5 to 5 pm and wednesday Update ,My wife just told me "He payed"

I think Trump is probably the most hated President in American history. Some might say he is also the most inept. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that he lost re-election. The only surprise is how many people did vote for him again.

I'm not going to go through the figures for all the one-term presidents' re-election bids, but I'm fairly sure that Trump's losing margin (as a percentage) isn't the biggest ever in the US.
I agree, though, that the depth and intensity of hatred of Trump among his opponents in the US and across the world is probably greater than for any other US president.

I agree, though, that the depth and intensity of hatred of Trump among his opponents in the US and across the world is probably greater than for any other US president. | | | | | I guess that's essentially what I was referring to -- the extreme polarization, which has resulted in a collective paradox, so to speak. People seem to either strongly hate him or love him. It seems there is rarely any in-between. I know there were a lot of people on the left who strongly disliked George W. Bush, but I'm not sure it was as much of an intense hatred as it is for Trump, perhaps in part because I don't think Bush empowered himself by dividing the country as Trump has. The hatred of Trump is self-made in many ways, on his part, because he empowers himself by trying to demonize anyone and everyone who disagrees with him or who, essentially, refuses to 'worship' him.
Not sure if anyone here has ever seen the show Black Mirror (my all-time favorite series), but there is an episode titled "USS Callister" that reminds me so much of Trump, where a guy basically traps people in a situation where they are forced to worship him and play along with his game, and when they refuse to do so, he punishes them.

| | Re: Trump or Biden .Who you got? | Quote: | | | | | No, hated and loved. | | | | | I personally gathered that people were more embarrassed with him as a president of their country than anything else. As for the other side - don't know anyone with the right to vote there who supported him or tried to defend him at any point so it's hard to say, but I noticed that some people from other parts of the world thought he's "amusing" and "atypical" (even some relatives of mine share this opinion..) You have all the nuances, perhaps. I can agree he aimed at polarising, that's why so many folks who wouldn't have normally bothered to vote decided to vote this time around, as his style was probably more annoying than his ideas. Many people, albeit not convinced by the dems' candidate, just wanted the circus to end. | Quote: | | | | | the show Black Mirror (my all-time favorite series), but there is an episode titled "USS Callister" that reminds me so much of Trump, where a guy basically traps people in a situation where they are forced to worship him and play along with his game, and when they refuse to do so, he punishes them. | | | | | One of my OH's favourites. Have seen one episode (or tried to), it's interesting but tbh I can't see any more dystopian series....reality seems to be catching up with movies/fiction ? | The following 2 users would like to thank greenmount for this useful post: | |

That's what makes these empty platitudes about 'bringing the country together' so pathetic.
