| | Re: Trump or Biden .Who you got? | Quote: | | | | | Twitter should really do the world a favor and ban him on January 20th. He's just using that platform as a propaganda device to spread his delusions and misinformation. And we're clearly seeing (and have already seen) how dangerous Trump's delusions can be. (Some are still waiting for that virus to just go away like a miracle....) | | | | | It will go away, just not so fast.
Or rather, it will go below the noticeable threshold until the next flu season.
As for Twitter: he has a lot of followers, which are active and if he doesn't tweet anymore (or isn't allowed), all his opponents can't tweet about his Tweets anymore either.
It would draw down user-engagement on the platform substantially IMO.
They could shadow-ban him (which might happen), but Twitter won't really do itself a favor, longterm.

But even then traditional MSM will still filter the news they report on, and ignore what runs counter or contradicts their main narratives. | | | | | Of course. I just wanted to vent my frustration with all these algo-driven social media plagues. They have brought hardly anything good.

| | Re: Trump or Biden .Who you got? | Quote: | | | | Mellissa Carone rose in prominence when she appeared beside Giuliani at hearings in front of Michigan’s state legislature. At the hearing, she asserted that she saw thousands of ballots go through tabulators multiple times while working for Dominion at Detroit’s TCF Center, even though the official count wasn’t off by thousands.
Lawyers representing the company wrote a letter to Mellissa Carone (amongst many others), a former contractor for Dominion, to “cease and desist making defamatory claims” and to preserve documents associated with her “smear campaign against the company,”
The letter addressed to Carone said, “in reality, you were hired through a staffing agency for one day to clean glass on machines and complete other menial tasks.” | | | | | Likely there will be successful civil suits financially benefiting Dominion.

Although someone has to pay the lawyers the plaintiffs have already got what they want. Public retractions on prime time TV and lots of press coverage like this.
Even the most devoted Trumpster has got to be asking themselves, where’s the evidence?

No surprise
A signature audit of the presidential election results in a key Georgia County confirmed there was no fraud, the third review to confirm that President-elect Joe Biden won the Peach State in November.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) said in a press release that the review in Cobb County, which Biden won by over 14 percentage points, found that the election board there “a 99.99% accuracy rate in performing correct signature verification procedures.”
The majority of the House GOP is expected to challenge the 6 Jan approval of the Electoral College in Congress, supporting this prick of a Senator from Missouri.
The Republican party is a disgrace.

The Republican party is a disgrace. | | | | | It is appalling, and cowardly. Because the R’s in the house are in the minority, this will go nowhere, it’s mostly grandstanding to hedge their bets for 2022. As for Hawley (the Senator from MO) it’s also an attempt to grandstand and raise his visibility among Trump’s base, positioning himself for 2024 as an heir apparent.
They’re trying to Challenge the PA vote. However, changes to voting procedure were approved well before the election by the PA legislature (majority Republican).
They are disgraceful.

| | Re: Trump or Biden .Who you got? | Quote: | | | | Congress delivered a stinging rebuke to President Trump during a rare New Years Day session Friday, handing him his first veto override in the final days of his administration.
The GOP-controlled Senate voted 81-13 to override Trump’s veto of a mammoth defense bill well above the two-thirds support necessary, underscoring the depth of disagreement between the two sides of Pennsylvania Avenue. | | | | | About time the GOP showed some cojones!
Now, will they do the same for Donny's lies about the election and stop behaving like a minority party in a third rate banana republic.

There is no shame left in the Republican party and all of the hideous warts are now fully on display.

Tom | | | | | Biden is four years older than Trump but is in much better shape than Trump. If Trump runs in 2024, he will be the age of what Biden is now. So will Trump supporters be concerned about Trump's age in 2024, then?

| | Re: Trump or Biden .Who you got? | Quote: | | | | According to audio posted Sunday by The Washington Post, President Trump directly asked Georgia's top elections officials to overturn his defeat to President-elect Joe Biden in the state during a Saturday phone call.
During the conversation, the president repeatedly asked Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) to "find" more than 11,000 ballots he would need to overcome a gap between him and Biden in the state, thereby flipping the state in his favor. | | | | | Donny always finding ever newer lows.

What is the voting process here? Is a majority vote necessary to accept or reject? Or is a single Senator that can block certification?

Both chambers in majority needed to reject certain electors on the basis of the challenge. Not going to happen.

That‘s the simplest outcome. Senate discusses among themselves as does the house).
