Is that why Biden has had a lead in the polls? Is that why so many Republicans have been voicing their refusal to vote for Trump?

https://ig.ft.com/us-election-2020/

I realize that you can't rely on polls to forecast the outcome of an election, but I remember back when they were in Trump's favor, and Republicans were saying that it meant he was certain to win -- and they were determined that he was going to win, bragging that polls were in his favor -- so they would be complete hypocrites to not acknowledge the polls being in Biden's favor as having any significance right now.

Also, don't forget. People didn't vote George Bush Sr. in for a second term. It can and does happen.

A sweeping statement with no factual basis. This seems to be a common theme in your posting, whether on American politics or medical issues.
On the vast majority of forums and social media, political trolls who purposefully lie and spread misinformation on a continual basis are banned. For some reason, Full Circle can do what he wants on a daily basis and doesn't even try to be subtle about it.

To be fair, it's not only him lately.

Re: Trump or Biden .Who you got?

Prior to the DNC convention, Biden had a net negative favorability rating, with slightly more Americans having an unfavorable view of the former vice president than a favorable one.
In the days after the convention, Biden's favorability ticked up from 40% just over a week ago to 45% in the new poll, which was conducted using Ipsos' KnowledgePanel.

Harris favourability also clicked up while both Trump and Pence clicked down

The Post-Convention bounce. Will be interesting to see if Trump and Pence also see a bounce after the RNC this week.

The Dems have their work cut out for them. I believe they can succeed, but they have to stay awake. Also, it‘s not Just the presidential race. Getting rid of Mitch in the senate is important.

And I just read that Trump will appear each night of the convention. All Trump, all the time. Wonder what that will do to the bounce?

Well apparently he is micromanaging the convention so much it is impossible to predict what will actually happen. After the first night, if it’s another Tulsa, he could very well just stay home and twitter from under his bed.

If he does speak every night it will certainly help a bunch of politicians - Democrats that is.

I just want this entire soap opera to end. Please.

I am sorry but you miss the point!
In this forum trolling is redefined as "balance and presenting alternative views" regardless if those views are "lies and spread misinformation".

Re: Trump or Biden .Who you got?

Did I ever write that you could not make this stuff up?
Quote:
For months, the Trump Victory Fund -- the joint operation between the President's campaign and the Republican National Committee -- has been coordinating with local party officials to train field operatives and volunteers to spread the word about how to vote by mail.
Much of that effort involves combating misinformation that comes directly from the President.
Source

Meanwhile Twitter on Sunday slapped a label on a tweet from President Donald Trump for "making misleading health claims that could potentially dissuade people from participation in voting."

And a very weird Trump tweet today from his golf course
Quote:
Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump

Happy Sunday! We want GOD!
The only thing worse than this clown being US President is the real possibility he will get a second term....

Someone finally got it.

Back to the thread's title. I have watched Biden's discourse and I believe you can't compare the two of them - him and Trump. This has nothing to do with each one's party, it's about personality. Biden simply seems more pleasant.

Let’s try again.
*We’re going to have better healthcare. This means REMOVING Obamacare which he did. Removing Obamacare brings back capitalism and keeps the private healthcare system alive , upping competition and lowering prices while allowing Americans to keep their FREEDOM to choose. When the government is involved in healthcare the quality of care goes down the drain and patients aren’t allowed to keep their doctors.

*These things are not done over night especially not with the corona virus taking it’s toll on so many peoples’ lives and entire economies. He will get this going in his second term.

*Manufacturing is back baby!! Companies like Ford are bringing their manufacturing plants and other business back to the United States. Apple had just announced it’s planning to invest 350 billion in the US and hire another 20 thousand workers.

&&&&&& my time is too valuable to keep going.
It is absolutely astounding how anyone can believe that crap. I just don't get it. How can anyone look at trump and say, yes, I share this man's vision and values and I want him to lead and represent my country.
It's beyond me.

Meanwhile the Trump Campaign complained of widespread fraud in Pennsylvania in a court case against mail-in voting.

Smart judge.
Looks like this case is now dead in the water.
Quote:
"After carefully considering the arguments raised by the parties, the Court finds that the appropriate course is abstention, at least for the time being.
In other words, the Court will apply the brakes to this lawsuit, and allow the Pennsylvania state courts to weigh in and interpret the state statutes that undergird Plaintiffs' federal- constitutional claims," Ranjan wrote Sunday.

It's hard to do, but remove President Trump's name from the equation and take a look at Joe Biden. It's astounding to me that anyone can look at him and say he even has a vision, or would want him to lead a great country like the USA. The ONLY reason I can see for people wanting to vote for Joe Biden is that he isn't President Trump. I don't think that will be enough to win the election.

Even if Joe Biden were to win in November, the problems won't end there. The US will be led by a very old and frail man at the outset of what could be a great depression who has zero chance of getting a second term. I would dread to think of the type of candidate the Republicans could have running (and winning) in 2024 under those circumstances.

I only watched his speech at the democratic convention, didn't leave a bad impression there. But it sadens me to see that these two were the best that this "great country" can bring up.

Maybe wonders happen and both parties step down from their divisive courses of action.
We even migth to get to see more of this

That's a fair assessment I think, it came across to me as a little desperate when the likes of CNN and the New York Times were gushing over Joe Biden's speech when he said, "'There’s never been anything we’ve been able to accomplish when we’ve done it together."

The bottom line is that Donald Trump is a dope, Joe Biden is a dope and it's sad that there is only a choice between the two (and Kanye West!!).
