Re: Trump or Biden .Who you got?

From NYT
Quote:
Last weekend, Representative Steve Scalise, the Louisiana Republican, shared a video clip featuring Ady Barkan, a progressive activist, asking Joe Biden, “Do we agree that we can redirect some of the funding for police?” To which Mr. Biden responded, “Yes, absolutely.”

Except that Mr. Barkan, who has amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and communicates with the aid of a computerized voice, had not included the words “for police” in his question. Those were spliced in by Mr. Scalise’s team, making it seem as though Mr. Biden was expressing direct support for defunding the police — something he explicitly opposes, no matter how loudly Republicans claim otherwise. Mr. Biden’s criminal justice plan, in fact, includes $300 million in additional funding for police departments.
How can anyone vote for these sleeze-buckets?

And then there is this about the Portland shooter:

LACEY, WA - It is with heavy hearts that we report the death of Michael Reinoehl, a Portland protester residing in Lacey. Mr. Reinoehl suffered multiple gun shot wounds after engaging with a federal task force who obtained a warrant for arrest from the Portland Police Department in connection with the shooting death of Aaron J Danielson, a far right Trumpeter and self proclaimed “boogaloo boy”. Reinoehl was said to be armed with a fully automatic rotary pistol, and a pickup bed mounted gantry beam rifle.

Reinoehl had returned from the International Space Station just 8 days before his death, after “becoming heavily engaged with an Antifa Facebook page group chat,” said his former spouse and animal caretaking aid at GW Exotic Animal Park. His former spouse went on to clarify that Reinoehl had never been the same following the tsunami disaster at Japan’s Fukashima Daiichi nuclear facility, where he served as head custodian. Initial tests concluded that Reinoehl suffered no lasting radiation poisoning from the meltdown. However, in a statement released by U.S. Marshals service, the head coroner reported what appeared to be a bioluminescent glow from his earlobes and beneath his fingernails.

Details are still emerging regarding the events leading up to Reinoehl’s death, we will continually update this article to ensure the latest and most accurate information.
You should at least cite your source for fake news and satire.

The suspect was never on the ISS, much less at Fukushima. But it makes a great story that can be spread around the internet.

I will not be celebrating anything until the results are in. If Trump wins it will be a dark, dark day, week, month and year(s) and the US can kiss goodbye to democracy and say hello to autocratic authoritarianism and a giant backwards leap in civil liberties.
Perhaps because it's fashionable to over exaggerate like you have, people will vote for Trump just to spite the neurotic anti-Trumpers. Call him Hitler and his supporters racists and the half of the population that voted for him in 2016 will only become more entrenched.

It's not as if only one team does this, there's been plenty of dis-info about Trump and his administration. By now, it's just war, facts don't matter to either side.

I'm struggling to believe the polls too. The first and obvious reason is what happened last time out, secondly I think there is a phenomenon at play I've dubbed the "Trump effect", whereby anyone other than the President's most die hard supporters are so shamed for admitting they support the President that they rather keep their views to themselves until polling day, finally I just don't see anything that the Biden campaign is doing or saying that is of appeal to middle America.

The polls have it a shut out for Joe Biden, whereas the Bookmakers have it 50:50
The betting odds simply reflect the fact that a lot of people have bet on Trump winning.

I don't know of anyone who has called Trump "Hitler." However, I have come across psychology articles that have mentioned some of the parallels between the two of them and their rise to power.

Coincidentally, if Germans had expressed resentment toward Hitler during WWII, would they have been considered "neurotic anti-Hitlers?"

Also, I should probably point out the fact that for eight years while Obama was in office, the right did nothing but bitch about him the entire time. He couldn't even wear a tan suit without Republicans and Fox News throwing a fit about it. Let alone the time his wife wore a sleeveless dress. How DARE she???

But apparently Trump supporters think that only THEY are allowed to criticize politicians.

So while yes, there are exaggerations on both sides, the majority of the time that Trump is being criticized is not due to an exaggeration. e.g. The time he suggested that people drink disinfectant.

But if you want to talk about exaggerations, let's talk about Trump supporters desperately trying to convince people that Joe Biden has dementia or that he is "hair-sniffing" when he whispers into someone's ear in a loud, crowded convention hall.

Really? Can you name a senior Democrat Senator that has been doctoring media to contradict Trumps campaign policies? It wasn’t like he was just using false news, he was creating it.

Can you name any Democrat politician that has done this?

They really don't, just do a search for "white nationalist Trump" or "Fascist Trump" into Twitter and you'll see both sides are as a bad as each other. If you can't see that then you're part of the problem.

Just watch this video of Democrat Representative Deberry, he gets it. Could I vote and were his name on the ballot paper then I would certainly be putting a cross next to his name!

https://twitter.com/mrctv/status/1297707698788728832
Turns out Deberry got removed from the Democratic ballot for the upcoming election. The decision was taken in April. He may run as independent.
"The decision came after years of accusations from Democrats that DeBerry did not have the best interests of the party at heart and that he was too cozy with Republicans and GOP donors."

Obviously the Democrats can't have people cooperate across the aisle in order to get results, they rather push them out.

Thanks for that information, I had no idea. Obviously far too sensible and mainstream to get on in the current Democrat Party. I’m starting to wonder if they’re actively trying to lose this election. AOC, BLM, Antifa, they’re all just as crazy as Donald Trump yet the Dems are welcome them with open arms!

Do you have a credible source for your claim that the Dems welcome the non-existent ANTIFA organisation?

Meanwhile Spanky is spanking Fox News, seems there is more to the claims about Trump in France calling dead US soldiers losers than I had expected!
Quote:

Jennifer Griffin of Fox News Did Not Confirm ‘Most Salacious‘ Part of Atlantic Story via @BreitbartNews

All refuted by many witnesses.
Jennifer Griffin should be fired for this kind of reporting.
Never even called us for comment.
@FoxNews is gone!
So Griffin is being abused by Trump for not confirming ‘Most Salacious‘ Part of Atlantic Story, he is truly wierd.

What is most striking about this story is that, ordinarily, it would be entirely unbelievable. What person, let alone an American president, would refer to brave Americans in such terms?

The problem is, Trump has made a long line of such unbelievable comments and then lied about them.
Indeed, in denying this latest story, he insisted “I never called John [McCain] a loser.” Yet, in 2015, he indeed did say of McCain, a former prisoner of war: “I like people who weren't captured. I don't like losers.”

Trump told reporters yesterday that he "called home" to Melania Trump at the time and told her how upset he was for not being able to visit the cemetery.

Another lie, Melania was with him in France.

Re: Trump or Biden .Who you got?

For me, one big problem that Trump has is he has very old fashioned views.

I doubt anybody under fifty is turned on by his "honour the flag claims" or "respect the military".

Likely older people are aware of his "bone spur" claims and are also sceptical.

The debt ceiling doesn’t seem to mean much any more as so far it has been raised every time it was reached . Rather politicians seem to think it’s a bargaining tool . We will raise the ceiling if we get this or that out of it . Outside of the Ron Paul camp (and he is no longer a congressman ) you won’t find many principled no votes .
it will when the democrat are winning ,just watch Ted Cruz

Trump self defeating?
Quote:
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) reportedly said he told President Trump his criticism of mail-in voting will hurt Republicans in the upcoming election.

"I tried to show him ... you know who is most afraid of COVID? Seniors. And if they're not going to go vote, period, we're screwed," McCarthy told an Axios reporter, according to a report published Sunday.

The top House Republican told the outlet he spent hours warning Trump that his preoccupation with slamming mail-in voting will hurt Trump’s own re-election as well as Republicans running for Congress.

The 'drink bleach' and 'fine people' both came from doctored videos released on pro-Democrat sites. In fact Biden mentioned the 'fine people' lie in his biggest speech, the acceptance of his nomination.
