Trump struggling in three states he won four years ago: poll

The New York Times/Siena College poll released Thursday revealed a competitive race between Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in Texas, Georgia, and Iowa, three states typically considered to be GOP strongholds.

The polls indicate the president could be forced to spend valuable campaign funding in states where Republicans typically did not have to invest in advertising

If I watch the old videos of Lindsey he looked like a reasonably nice and honourable man... unfortunately his descent into Trump-induced madness has eroded his soul. I do wonder, given how extreme his beharioural changes were, if Trump has something on him.

Re: Trump or Biden .Who you got?

Trump has refused to commit to a peaceful transition of power. Just imagine the gravity of this situation... this is not Belarus, or some tinpot dictatorship... it's the USA.

It is truly shocking and deeply disturbing to see this happening in such a democracy and this has the potential to destabilize the world.

Wow, did anyone else not know that Biden had a wife and daughter that was killed in a car crash in the early 70's? https://www.marieclaire.com/politics...-hunter-naomi/

****, this guy has been through a lot in his life and come out of the other side fighting. The more I learn of him the more I think to myself: "Ok he may not be perfect, but that is a generally good and compassionate man with a big heart". It's clear why Obama chose him to be his VP.

I don't want to sound rude, but Biden's personal tragedies are almost what define him -- and they are very well known, at least in the US and among those who watch US politics. His other major tragedy is the death of one of his remaining sons, Beau, a very up-and-coming shining light on the legal and political scene, who died of brain cancer in 2015. This was one of main reasons for Joe Biden (his father -- Beau's full real name was the same as his father's) not running for president in 2016.

Wait till you get to the "interesting" part, concerning Beau's widow and his brother Hunter.

Naturally, I will agree to take one also. His Debate performances have been record setting UNEVEN, to put it mildly.
Only drugs could have caused this discrepancy???

And the Biden campaign response

“Vice President Biden intends to deliver his debate answers in words.
If the president thinks his best case is made in urine he can have at it,” said Kate Bedingfield, Biden’s deputy campaign manager.
“We’d expect nothing less from Donald Trump, who pissed away the chance to protect the lives of 200K Americans when he didn't make a plan to stop COVID-19.”

It looks like Trump's pick of Amy Coney Barrett for a Justice of the Supreme Court might be beginning to work against him. Signs are beginning to emerge that he's losing female votes.

In Pennsylvania, advantage Biden with a big boost from women: POLL
https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/penn..._live_hero_hed

"Overwhelming support in Philadelphia and its suburbs lift former Vice President Joe Biden to a clear lead in crucial Pennsylvania, with backing from college-educated white people and women -- notably white, moderate and suburban women -- central to his advantage in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll.

President Donald Trump, for his part, is suffering attrition among his 2016 supporters; 8% of them now back Biden instead."

Thanks for sharing that.

Trump is simultaneously trying to sabotage the election AND complaining that the election is being sabotaged.
