99% of the time I find Full Circle's opinions quite diametrically opposed to mine, but never thought he was purposefully trolling. Both FC and Tony Clifton have a similar way of expressing their opinions which, often times, may come across as pushing buttons. I assume it's just me missing sarcasm completely, or just feeling a bit over-sensitive (if that's the case, I write a reply, and leave it unposted for a while, to come back to it later).
Oh, talking about "fitness", I just stumbled upon this:

I see rock-proof, consistent opinion that just keeps peeving people off but whether it is "trolling" or showing integrity and loyalty to one's personal view is disputable. Of course that some people would prefer them to disappear. Why should they back down only because a lot of posters here show very low tolerance to opposing views? And, if they did change their opinion, wouldn't the same intolerant folks accuse them of flakiness? Instability? I have seen very little consistency in people's opinion online...I wouldn't call those loyal to their views "trolls". Thank you, Caleb, for voicing your point of view, I appreciate it and respect it even when we might not see eye to eye on some issues. And I like golf if it matters.

It never crossed my mind that it would be an issue, as much as not seeing eye to eye with someone else with regards to music style preference, or favourite sports to watch. So it really puzzles me how sensitive people have become lately to differences in how we see the role of the state, macroeconomics, international policy, etc (in other words, differences in political opinions). smh

For that matter - online drama, people flouncing or being banned is not going to influence the American elections, Brexit or Covid. I wish our forum was so potent but internet just isn't. Let's be nice to eachother here, we do have that in our control. Or at least reasonably civil. | The following 2 users would like to thank MusicChick for this useful post: | |

Did anyone catch the Pelosi interview with CNN? Ughh! On all levels... she accuses of all people, Wolf Blitzer (not conservative in the least!) and yet, she accuses him of being an "apologist"??? Has she lost her mind?
Well... apparently Doug Collins, a republican from Georgia, has set in motion a resolution for her removal as speaker.
As nuts as Trump and Biden are..She appears to be compromised as well given the CNN interview. What a mess the US finds itself in... Ughh!

She got angry, but she should have given concrete examples of what spending proposals in the Trump "offer" she was opposing. Blitzer went after her, which is great and shows CNN still has its moments, but of course the reality is that the Trump proposal never had a chance because he has no GOP support for it.
Biden is not nuts, he is a bit old and a bit confused sometimes. Still, likable guy and way better than Clinton who in her arrogance f-ed it all up and will never get over it (rightly so).

I find Trump hilarious, but I have a feeling he isn't trying to entertain me.

Not when he's being obtuse, of course.

So I can see that. Probably not all that different from the stories we don't read enough about in contemporary politics from the Phillipines, Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, et al.

He's definitely not a Shakespearian type.

Social media doing themselves no favours in blocking the New York Post story on the Biden family dodgy dealings. Firstly it continues the narrative that they're not politically impartial whilst allowing the interpretation that they are publishers together with the can of worms that will open. Secondly there's the Streisand effect on the story we're now seeing as a result!
