They are not disputing this? Is there hard evidence of proof of the ownership of the laptop. I just read something on Snopes calling a lot of this into question. So, to be honest, I question that these are indeed facts.

And Breitbart is? I looked at that too. I’ll pass on the rest. But thanks.

Ahhhh....Peter Schweizer is a contributor to Breitbart. Interesting.

Re: Trump or Biden .Who you got?

Is this not just another example of how bipartisan the debate has become? Are the same people who got excited over what Donald Trump allegedly said about dead US soldiers being "losers", or over the New York Times release of Donald Trump's supposed tax returns seriously defending Hunter Biden with the same level of zeal?!

Except... Let's review the facts. It is a fact that the laptop is/was in fact Hunter Biden's - even the Biden camp is not disputing this.

The emails reveal much about Hunter, his business "development" and his father's corroboration so how exactly did Russia play a role here? Now I am curious and I am neither a Trump nor Biden fan...
For what it is worth
Quote:
The owner of the computer store, John Paul MacIsaac, was unable and unwilling to answer key questions about how the laptop supposedly arrived in his store, and eventually, how the data was shared with Giuliani.
CBS News interviewed MacIsaac for almost two hours on Wednesday and throughout the interview he contradicted himself about his motivations, raising questions about the truthfulness of one of the central figures in the story.

Standing in his shop on Wednesday, MacIsaac admitted he was unable to confirm it was actually Hunter Biden who dropped off the laptop because he is "legally blind"!!
Source

This whole thing is a farce.
Certainly there is no unbroken chain of custody since the laptop was dropped off at this repair shop by someone claiming to be linked to Hunter Biden. Anybody could have manipulated the laptop in those four years.

The computer repair shop owner said the FBI has the hardware, so whose laptop is he waving around?

Hunter Biden is not running for President, so no. For me, I’m questioning the veracity of this whole stream of information due to timing and circumstance, and quite frankly, the source. Yes, I admit to bias against Breitbart and to some extent, the NY Post. Years ago, I studied how the Post framed health issues and was unimpressed. That has not changed, but it can be extended to politics.

Tune in folks as more will be revealed. Incidentally, Schweizer is an accomplished investigative journalist - despite his Breitbart connections.

Ask yourself how poor Joe amassed his real estate holdings given his income?

Or better yet, read the Schweizer book:

All of the people of that book cover have made their tax filings public. All of them have paid more than 750 bucks a year. None of them have been forbidden to run a charity. None of them ran a fake university. None of them sold stocks big time when learning about the Covid threat before it dawned on the public.

I could give a rat's rear end about Trump - for the record! Why do you deflect exactly? Let's talk about Biden - shall we? He has repeatedly DENIED ever discussing his son's business arrangements and now we find out that not only did he fully know about Hunter's Chinese deals, but he also met with those officials... And while this company was supposedly "private", we know who runs the show in China.

That doesn't sound like a conflict of interest to you?

Honestly, we need a third party in the US. The corruption runs so deep on both sides - in my view. Biden is just as corrupt as Trump. He is more likable/genial - but definitely corrupt.

Deflect? You posted the suggestion to buy and read this "book".

I have sympathy for a third party in general, but this is the last thing the US and the world need right now.

As someone else mentioned, Hunter Biden is not running for President. And I'm sorry you can't seem to wrap your mind around that as well as the fact that Joe Biden is not responsible for what his grown son does or may have done. You also can't seem to wrap your mind around the fact that a Republican-led investigation was performed, and even they admit that they found nothing.

People like you are so clearly desperate to get something... ANYTHING... on Joe Biden that it's apparently eroding your logic and critical thinking skills.

What Trump does speaks for itself. He has been adamantly refusing to reveal his tax returns and is the only US President to have ever refused to do so. Please tell me... If Trump has nothing to hide with his tax returns, then why is he fighting so hard to NOT reveal them -- even going so far as to file an emergency request with the Supreme Court to stop the release of his tax returns?

Also, I am not defending Hunter Biden, and I don't recall really seeing anyone here defending him. However, I will defend the fact that Joe Biden is not responsible for what his son has allegedly done.

Leader of the free world shares an article from a satirical web site that claimed "Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey realized he had to take action.
Dorsey smashed a glass box in his office reading "Break In Case Of Bad Publicity For Democrats."
Inside the case was a sledgehammer for smashing Twitter's servers."

Re: Trump or Biden .Who you got?

From the headlines today...

The legal reckoning awaiting Donald Trump if he loses the election
https://edition.cnn.com/2020/10/17/p...ing/index.html

"Without some of the protections afforded him by the presidency, Trump will become vulnerable to multiple investigations looking into possible fraud in his financial business dealings as a private citizen -- both as an individual and through his company. He faces defamation lawsuits sparked by his denials of accusations made by women who have alleged he assaulted them, including E. Jean Carroll, the former magazine columnist who has accused him of rape. And then there are claims he corrupted the presidency for his personal profits.
As President, Trump has been able to block and delay several of these investigations and lawsuits -- including a yearlong fight over a subpoena for his tax returns -- in part because of his official position. Many of those matters have wound through the courts and will come to a head whether he is reelected or not.

But with the polls showing that Democratic rival Joe Biden is leading in the race, the stakes become much higher for Trump if he loses the election. A raft of legal issues, including a criminal investigation by New York prosecutors, will come into focus in the weeks after Election Day.
"In every regard, his leaving office makes it easier for prosecutors and plaintiffs in civil cases to pursue their cases against him," said Harry Sandick, a former federal prosecutor in the Manhattan US attorney's office. "For example, he is claiming a higher protection from subpoenas in the criminal cases and also in the congressional subpoena cases, [and that] is based largely on the fact that he is President."

Ha haaa. That's just one more example of the way he psychologically projects, by claiming that everything he doesn't agree with is "fake news" and yet he so eagerly spreads fake news himself.

I just read that his Tweet is in reference to a story from the Babylon Bee, and the motto on the Bee's Twitter page says it all: "Fake news you can trust."

Trump's desperation is simultaneously pathetic and comical at this point.

Agree... What has Russia got to do with anything? I don't like the timing of the Hunter Biden exposure/leak, but I do think Biden was complicit and knew about his son's dealings.

Comes back to what are these dealings? Nobody seems to know.

So far the only alleged link to Joe is that it is claimed Hunter said to him one day "Hey dad, I got a new job with a company in Ukraine".
