Trump was more well-behaved this time, but he lied more.

Trump killed it.

"It's all talk but no action with these politicians," Trump said. "Why didn't you get it done? You had eight years to get it done."
What exactly did the Obama administration not get done?
The Obama administration lifted the US of out a recession, created more jobs than any other president and brought affordable healthcare to millions of Americans.
So what exactly has Trump accomplished for Americans, in comparison?

PS..Mods...I figured out the EF glitch in responding to Pancake's post. Anytime I tried to respond I was sent to the middle of the thread () So I could never post... This has never happened before as typically when one quotes a thread, they are sent to the bottom of that thread... Very odd indeed and No Marton..decidedly NOT fake news
Did you read the messages earlier pointing out where the fix for this was documented? Only I see that you're still using the WYSIWYG editor option, which is what triggers the problem.

Here's the workaround again.

Eight years as VP, not as President.

Meanwhile, after four years, where is Trump's healthcare plan? His COVID-19 mitigation strategy? His pathway to get millions of Americans back to work? His plan to protect the environment, including the atmosphere? His taxes? Et cetera.

I'm genuinely curious: why do you think the Democrats hate conservative or right-wing Americans?
I think they hate 'Trump supporters' - specifically the stereotype Trumptards out in middle America.

The idea that Democrats have abandoned middle America is nothing new but I think they are now much more open about their outright hatred for the deplorables who live there.

Donald Trump's tax reforms have resulted in wage increases (last year a 6.8% rise in median income), as well as a booming economy before Covid arrived. Regarding Covid, where is anyone's mitigation strategy? Joe Biden's strategy seems just to be "follow the science". Well we've allegedly been doing that in Europe for the past 7 months and are in rather much the same position as the US, only our economy is in worse shape!

Ultimately I believe Covid will cost Donald Trump the White House, which ironically he can hardly be blamed for considering the State Governors just did what they wanted anyway!

You can't blame someone for not tolerating racism. I am a Democrat from "middle America" and the overwhelming majority of Trump supporters that I know from that area are racist. And that is just fact.

I have an uncle there who is a hardcore Trump supporter who was once fired from his job for calling a Middle Eastern co-worker a "towel head." A girl I've known since kindergarten who is a Trump supporter once told me that I am a traitor for having moved to Switzerland and that I was "unpatriotic" for having said something critical of the US educational system ().

My mother lives in a retirement village in Florida. She said that she refuses to discuss politics at "the clubhouse" because so many of them are Trump supporters. She told me the other day that the park recently hired a black man as a janitor and that the "Trump supporter" crowd wrote the association to complain about it and asked that he be fired for no other reason than the fact that the guy is black.

These are the kinds of mentalies that people have to deal with. And they're NOT just confined to middle America.

Both have issues... But in my view, Biden suffers from dementia (My Mom who passed away in March also suffered from this affliction). Trump, in my view, suffers from Narcissistic personality disorder which is a completely different thing - as EVERYTHING is about him - and then some

This is why I chose not to vote in this election as to me, what a farce. These octogenarians, are the best we have as candidates in the US? Beyond sad...

But you forgot to reference Biden and the swamp? Why exactly?
Biden's performance in last night's debate killed any lingering claims about cognitive issues.

You haven't answered any of the questions I posed. All you've stated is that for a short period, Trump maintained the economic curve that Obama, sorry, I mean Obama/Biden, handed him. What did he actually do in four years, apart from enrich himself and his family and contribute to the death of nearly a quarter of a million Americans so far?

I don't believe that 'Trump supporter from middle America' = racist. That sounds like your cognitive bias again.

At least we've moved on from denying it to rationalizing it I guess.

Amusing how Donny keeps saying Biden did nothing in 8 years as VP but fails to list Pence's great achievements in four years as VP.

This just isn't accurate or fair, the highest percentage wage increase since records began was a direct result of lower taxes and less regulation. Employment was at its highest ever pre-Covid, as well for the Black community. Other notable points to the legacy of his administration has been getting his Supreme Court picks into the job, the First Step Act which has given much more flexibility with mandatory sentencing allowing non-violent offenders to rehabilitate thus massively improving the criminal justice system for the better and he's also toned down the war on drugs. The greatest achievement, which isn't really an achievement at all however something that all US presidents can't seem to resist, is being far less interventionist in his foreign policy. How many lives has that saved?

I never said that all Trump supporters in middle America are racist. I was saying that many of them that I know are and that that has been my experience there. I even phrased it specifically as "the overwhelming majority of Trump supporters that I know from that area are racist." But clearly you are trying to twist my words into something else because that strokes your own cognitive bias.

I'm not sure what you mean exactly by "At least we've moved on from denying it to rationalizing it I guess." Do you mean that in reference to being racist and how someone tries to rationalize their own racism, or?
