I know you meant this, too..I just want to say that you don't need to prove the credibility of your opinion by saying you have no stakes in this mess. We all do. Your opinion is legit.
Interesting point of view.

Double standards are the rule of the game ever since there's been Homo Sapiens roaming the planet and it's not Israel's monopoly to complain about it. Practically EVERY country in this world can claim that at some point its being treated that way.

In short, the moral term "double standards" is called "Realpolitik" in the real world
Oh, good to know.

Classic Pashosh.

To clarify: the man was a professor as well as general of the revolutionary guards. That’s a paramilitary organization that’s also the largest employer of the country. Including pretty much all the infrastructure, oil and electricity companies - including nuclear.

Yes, Donald Trump has officially put the on the terror list last year.
Classic Treverus.

First to comment on a thread Israel might be involved somehow.

This.

Whether one calls the guys a terrorist or not, it is a despicable regime and I am surprised that many in Europe seem still to think the friendly grandfatherly face of former president Khatami is the real face of this "Islamic Republic". A great country in the hands of thieves and fundamentalists.
Many in Europe meaning many on EF? Oh well....does it even matter who or what this guy was?

I personally think it's because of Israel. I haven't read a single balanced opinion on Israel here because well, we all know how the thinly veiled antisemitism works.

Re: Nuclear Scientist killed in Iran.

New Year, old tricks : hijacking a Korean ship and enriching uranium.
If Iran claims not to be interested in building a nuclear bomb, why is making weapon grade uranium?

No, 20% is not weapons-grade; 90% and above is. The reason for the increase now is to give the Iranians more leverage with Biden.
I agree. to clarify: 20% is more than needed for Civilian use and less than needed for a bomb. Enriching Uranium beyond civilian levels proves again that Iran's nuclear program is aiming for the bomb.
