I think he does very well. His posts are intelligent. He just decides to spend it on trolling, in my view.
I told you that in confidence!

You understand that the increasing inflation is not a US phenomenon and is driven by much more than what the Fed is doing?
Turnaround is fair play, we both know if Trump was the president now MSNBC and CNN would have a scrolling Inflation ticker. They would track the average price of bread, gasoline, beef, etc like friggin' stock signals

Not to mention, he would have been impeached twice over it

Even the New York Times is starting to turn on Biden.

Democrats whispering about Biden begin

We can close the thread. When the "Paper of Record" starts to turn on a democrat, it is nearly the end of the road.

Prediction: There will be whispers until the election. They can't go scorched earth on him yet in order to mitigate an even bigger red wave.

After the election (December/January) though, watch out....the skeletons in the closets will be written about more prominently in order to encourage him to abandon a second term ala Truman or LBJ. It's likely he gets impeached though there may be a backroom deal if he doesn't run again

One cannot rely on the media, now the New York Post has turned on Trump

GOP just won a special election and reduced the dem control of the house to 4 seats. The district they won voted GOP for the first time in 150 years.

The propspects for the mid-terms looks quite poor for the Democrats. Not a lot of things going in Biden's favour right now.

Surprising in a heavily Latino seat.
Flores is set to face off against Democratic Rep. Vicente Gonzalez in the redrawn 34th Texas District in November.

South Carolina House Republican, Rep. Nancy Mace, who had crossed Trump, survived a Trump-fueled primary challenge by former state Rep. Katie Arrington.

Not sure how you read this from the poll. This is sentiment at/before midterms. Obama lost 63 seats in the House in 2010 and pretty much was limited to Executive Orders ever since. The GOP crop coming into the House this year will be at least as unfriendly as the Tea Party was to Obama.

If some polls are to be believed President Biden's approval is below that of Donald Trump at the same point, even I didn't think things could get this bad for him!

The irony is that a portion of blame for the state of economy can be levelled at the previous administration, although there's little doubt this has been very much exacerbated by the Biden presidency.

I think the Democrats have little other to blame for themselves though for the poll situation, having spent 4 years blaming each and everything directly on President Trump, it's little wonder the same tactics would be used against them. Difference being of course that life for the average American under Donald Trump was far better than life under Joe Biden (and it's getting worse). The November mid terms could get messy.

Amazing how tje party in power managed to drive the economy in the ground so fast. I expect in a few weeks we will find out that US is in a recession
Do you blame inflation across Europe on Biden, too? Do you understand what has been driving inflation across the world?

So you basically just admitted that you think Biden should be blamed for inflation because you think that Trump would be blamed for it.

If Trump was still in office, would it be perfectly justified for everyone to be blaming Trump for inflation right now?

None of this matters.

The GOP and FOX are talking about gas prices non-stop. The Fed will probably hit the brakes hard and the economy will stall or go into recession. And it does not help when idiots like AOC question Biden from the left and Schumer cannot organize any meaningful votes on mainstream issues like abortion.

Elon Musk voted for the winning candidate in Texas. So besides the expanded Latino support, GOP is picking up the African American votes too

Well, I think logic and critical thinking have never been the GOP or Fox News's strong point. The only thing Fox News cares about is keeping its ratings up, which requires it to appeal to its fan base.

AOC wanted Bernie to win. I know a few Democrats who are a bit sore at Biden that Bernie didn't win. But with that said, AOC and anyone else has a right to question Biden. That's something that so few on the right ever did with Trump. I voted for Biden, but I don't blindly follow him or 'worship' him because of it, and I think that he is imperfect just like any human being is. What I have seen, though, is Biden trying to do the best he can. He's in a very difficult situation with the Ukraine and now being blamed for inflation that he has little control over and is not responsible for. But of course anyone who doesn't like Biden is going to always filter out the good and only focus on the bad because that's how cognitive bias works.

I would be interested to know, though, what someone on the right would say if asked how exactly Biden is responsible for inflation. Every time I've asked that or have pointed out that inflation is also occurring across Europe, etc., they just don't answer the question and try to change the subject.

Of course. They have no answer either. This is politics. Inflation is their best card.
