To be fair, that's just the son. Doesn't really have anything to do with Biden directly.
If only, a much younger (and much more coherent) Biden hadn't been boasting before lawmakers and on camera how he had supported legislation to send anyone found with a bit of crack in his possession to jail for five years.
The video archive is probably just disgusting.
Though it seems main stream media are waking up to the cognitive decline of the POTUS - just in time for the mid-terms.
As has been said earlier: it's just elderly-abuse at this point, letting this man suffer in front of cameras.
Nobody in his right mind can seriously believe that he can make it through his first term, unless he spends the rest of it in the basement again.

| | | | | It's a slow motion train wreck! The President keeps having these senile moments with increasing frequency, all there for the world to see. Like this one from last week. https://twitter.com/realDailyWire/st...43393668616193
Will the Democrats allow this man to stay in office? This against the backdrop of a dire economy and terrible polling figures. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/07/11/u...ling-2024.html
I'm not sure he'll even make it to 2024 at this rate!

I'm pretty sure he won't.
Even Obama aged considerably in his time as POTUS - I can't imagine what it must be if you're barely making it through the day, literally being pushed around.
The mental and physical demands of this job are not to be underestimated.
If only they had chosen a more capable VP than Kamala, like Tulsi Gabbard. She seems coherent at least and would be a real problem for any Republican candidate.

He won't run. But it is remarkable that there is so much discussion about this on the Dem side - the idiots again seem to forget the next election is 2022, not 2024.
And who cares what the bullshit from the right says? Hunter, seriously?

That said, I recently stumbled on this gem with Biden, Harris and Gabbard from the 2019 primaries when I was looking for a comparison of Biden a few years younger to Biden today. |

| | Re: Will Biden be a good President? | Quote: | | | | | | | | | | And yet a 78-year old man with "dementia" was still able to beat Trump in the last election.
When Trump makes a gaffe, you ignore it. But when Biden does it, somehow it's senility or dementia.
The US economy would be sh*t right now regardless of who is President. It was sh*t when Trump was still in office. Inflation is happening all across the world, but of course you choose to ignore that because it doesn't validate your blame of Biden for it.
Keep in mind that Trump's average approval rating for his entire terms was 41%, and at one point it was as low as 33%. And of course, this is all if you really put much stock in polls to begin with.
I wouldn't mind seeing a different Democrat take office in 2024, but only because of Biden's age, as he would be ~86 years old at the end of his second term if he won. If Trump was to run in 2024, he would be the same age Biden was when he ran in 2020, and I recall many people such as yourself saying that 78 is much too old for a President to take office. I do think Biden should hand over the reins to allow a different Dem to take office in the next election, but not because of his current job performance.
At the end of the day... No matter what Democrat was President right now, and no matter what their age was or what they're doing or have done, you'd still be looking for ways to bitch about it.

I've been clear that I don't think President Trump should run in 2024. This is a thread about President Biden, so why do you feel the need to bring Trump's name into this anyway?
Whichever way one looks at it, the facts are clear that the situation the US finds herself in today way never as bad as it was under the previous administration.
The polls show that there has been near total loss of faith in President Biden due to his senility. The President's age comes top in polls of Democrat voters as to why they want someone else to stand in 2024.
Something else that isn't being reported as much as it should be is the number of President Biden's team that are quitting, Jen Psaki, Kate Bedingfield, Cedric Richmond among others. This is an administration that is facing crisis after crisis.
End of quote. Repeat the line.

| | Re: Will Biden be a good President? | Quote: | | | | | | | | | | It is interesting that there is very little real solid criticism of Biden other than the infantile repeating of the false Russian propaganda claims that he is senile. Does illustrate how strong and pervasive is Russian propaganda.
His poor polling numbers just illustrate how dumb the majority of US voters who cannot recognise a good thing when they see it and simply blame him for world wide problems like gas prices that no country leader can fix.
Every world leader has gaffes when addressing large audiences, why don't you show us some of the thousands of hours of gaff free speeches.

Attrition in the Trump administration also was through the roof - the later in the term, the more. It was a shit-show.

Let's see how his Saudi trip is going. Wouldn't be surprised if the fat prince tries to embarass him. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/07/13/bide...ome-reset.html |

It was a shit-show. | | | | | This is true and each departure was reported relentlessly in the media as signs of an administration in crisis. The reaction to the current departures from the White House is however far more muted. Whatever the chaos under Trump, the White House now finds itself either limited or helpless in combatting the continuous plight. Morale inside 1600 Pennsylvania Ave is rock bottom amid growing fears of President Biden's first term being plagued by soaring prices and foreign policy confusion and increasing episodes of senility from the commander-in-chief.

And positions as a "public face" like press secretary must be super stressful. However there are no internal "rebels" who anonymously work against the POTUS either.

Someone decided on the unfortunate name for this thread (back when the optimism was much higher) and now after 18 months when we can see clearly that the answer is a big fat NO those same people don’t like it.
The only thing left to do is to keep dunking on this thread and posting easy layups. The usual suspects will try to give the flagrant fouls….
