I am sure you know but if one reads this incredibly boring Twitter release it actually says Twitter had a statutory right (like every other business) that right was signed off by Trump in 2019 to be reimbursed for time spent handling FBI requests - nothing to do with censorship.

In the meanwhile, Musk has announced "I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams."

i think he seems more worried about the FBI colluding with twitter to censor accurate information from the public.

This is what I was alluding to with the young and educated being those who perpetuate this insanity. Much of these ideas form on campus, particularly US campuses where they then spread out into the mainstream.
