Back to Mr. Musk, what a soap opera. TSLA -8% today, -60%YTD, after Mr. Musk sold only 5% of his shares to buy twitter. Something funny happened at $140, it seems a lot of people set a sell order at this price. I guess we're going to be lectured soon on the importance of free speech.
While TSLA ship is capsizing, Mr. Musk is worried about a laptop from Hunter Biden. | The following 3 users would like to thank Axa for this useful post: | |

I am sure you know but if one reads this incredibly boring Twitter release it actually says Twitter had a statutory right (like every other business) that right was signed off by Trump in 2019 to be reimbursed for time spent handling FBI requests - nothing to do with censorship.

In the meanwhile, Musk has announced "I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams."

New take from Stanford University at what language should be considered harmful and therefore not used. An entertaining review from the Stanford Review, apparently a student paper there. https://stanfordreview.org/big-broth...anguage-guide/
The original language guide that this about can be found through the link in the article. It is a hilarious read. | | | | | This is what I was alluding to with the young and educated being those who perpetuate this insanity. Much of these ideas form on campus, particularly US campuses where they then spread out into the mainstream.
Andrew Sullivan's four and a half year old piece "We All Live on Campus Now" with hindsight now looks like a prophecy.

We All Live on Campus Now https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2018...ampus-now.html | | | | | Look at all of these young and educated folks in the audience... treating our hero as a puppet. Madness. And Westbury has a campus, in the US, no less, and... and ...and it became mainstream as Peewee's Playhouse....
Produced forty and two years ago, this piece, with hindsight now IS a prophecy!
And apparently the world is a campus (sing it like the Smashing Pumpkins' Bullet with Butterfly Wings). |

"The goal of our culture now is not the emancipation of the individual from the group, but the permanent definition of the individual by the group. We used to call this bigotry. Now we call it being woke. You see: We are all on campus now."

Below, the way of thinking expected from US business leaders, however it's preferable to not talk about it in public.
A CEO worried about the FBI colluding with twitter is...different.

Great job by the Stanford Administration if their goal was to polarize the US people even more (and achieving most likely nothing in return)
I understand that in order to achieve cultural change you sometimes have to take extreme positions, imho this list is counterproductive.
I've got to learn a new term "balls to the wall" though, so thanks for that.

Of course you’ve missed something.
“Freedom of speech is the right to speak, write, and share ideas and opinions without facing punishment from the government.”
