Well, he now probably is the richest man on the graveyard...
At which point do fatal billionaire heli accidents become statistically very unlikely to happen naturally?

I truly am sorry for his death but I was also quite surprised that he was allowed to enter the states during Covid time. I guess money can buy you everything... almost

Hopefully his media empire will now be halted and stop meddling with Slovenian politics. I guess smart and creative means encouraging corruption, but to each his own .

He was one of the better billionaires, but by no means saint. He got rich by privatization after communism fell, which basically robbed 15 million families in former Czechoslovakia of (some or all) savings under the guise of investing into industries being released from state ownership, some sort of state-issued shares (Kuponova privatizace in Czech). Almost all of those investments were stolen, even when the companies thrived and regular people didn't see anything.
I mean he started sort-of GMBH with few friends and thanks to knowing the right people the state basically gave this no-name company the biggest insurance in whole state worth at least thousand times more. Just like that. It was a messy period, and he was one of the wolves praying on the weak and naive.
Theft in plain sight, he wasn't the only one doing it but definitely in cahoots with all the rest. Got a few billions that started his more legal and morally straight businesses like short term loans (if you can call that moral) and insurances.
He often meddled in politics although not very visibly, basically owned all major news outlets in Czech republic and as mentioned didn't mind interfering with other eastern countries.
On more positive note he also contributed to some research and donated some money to charities (like all those do, I guess tax reasons but possibly not only)
