How to avoid Hotel Quarantine in UK & extend your holiday abroad with money saved

Read all about - here's the answer of how to save money for travellers to
the UK, coming from any of the UK's Red List countries and have a cheaper 10 day holiday in Turkey ( or any other country that doesn't impose Hotel Quarantine ) instead.

As you know travellers from countries on the red list would otherwise face bills of up to 1,750-per-person to isolate in a hotel if they flew to the UK direct.
This can shoot upto a massive 3,700 for a family of four with teenage
children. As guests are largely restricted to their rooms for the duration.

The money saving answer is to stopover for at least 10 days in a country
like Turkey andenjoy holiday and accomodation there for a fraction of the price to what you would pay in the UK with the mandatory Hotel Quarantine. If you had returned to the UK direct.

Well, until Turkey ends up on the red list.

They will only switch their stopover to another country, as all they have to do is sit out the 10 days in another country before doing the final leg to the
UK. Of course they still have to do the 72 hour Covid tests and 2 further tests in the UK but that's peanuts compared to forking out 1,750-per-person
which would rise to 3,700 for a family of four if they went back to the UK direct and spend their time in Hotel Quarantine on arrival.
