Lawyers already facing formal ethics hearings include Lin Wood, Sidney Powell, and Erik Kaardal, which cannot be too soon for the rest of the bad bunch, what do you think?
What took so long?

They are overwhelming by the number of cases they have to investigate.

The easy ones are the dumb lawyers who actually went into a court room with their nonsense.

The more challenging cases are the ones that walked right up to the live before turning right.

Re: Rudy Giuliani suspended from practicing law in New York state

The voting machine company Dominion had issued a subpoena to Giuliani on 1st July as part of its defamation case against Giuliani and others including Fox News.

Seems Fox News has already lost their nerve and aired a live disclaimer adding context to comments made by former President Trump referencing electoral fraud during his speech shown live on TV at the Conservative Political Action Conference yesterday.

“Voting system companies have denied the various allegations made by President Trump and his counsel regarding the 2020 election," the disclaimer read.

Wonder if Guiliani will also turn tail?

The guy is 77. He had probably no plan to work in a courtroom anymore... or to take on any job at all. Clearly the last job he had wasnt too good for his mental health...

Re: Rudy Giuliani suspended from practicing law in New York state

Seems the chief counsel for the Republican National Committee (RNC) was already advising last November that what Rudy was doing was a joke, surely they could have found a way to stop Rudy before he ruined his reputation?

(RNC) Justin Riemer wrote in a Nov. 28 email (obtained by the Washington Post) to former RNC official Liz Harrington, he sought to discourage a party staffer from sharing unfounded claims of voter fraud through RNC accounts after the election was called for President Biden.

“What Rudy and Jenna are doing is a joke and they are getting laughed out of court,” Riemer wrote in a Nov. 28 email to former RNC official Liz Harrington, referring to Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis.

“They are misleading millions of people who have wishful thinking that the president is going to somehow win this thing,”

Edit; There are a number of ongoing cases this week reviewing sanctions against other lawyers who partnered with Guiliani in election cases.
