You know, I feel like Mark Horn of the forum
I remember him completing the epic trek across the Arctic Circle, travelling above the tree line and against the prevailing winds and currents to make it more difficult ... of course, he could've done it the easier way but no , he did not try to fight for the "thanks" greenies (dont know how they're called)
Who?

There was a Mike Horn who completed an epic trek across around the Arctic Circle in 2004.

Anyway, do continue to feel like Mark Horn and give us Tarot readings; probably a lot more accurate than your usual posts

Or were you feeling like other people

I am sorry but I will have to denounce you to the
Benny Hill Fan Club for smearing his reputation.

1) Religious upbringing
2) Cultural upbringing
3) Past experiences
4) Self-consciousness
5) Overwhelmed
6) Internal instinct

Teenagers suddenly become very reserved and shy about their naked bodies. For some, that desire to be private stays while others lose that shyness.

It's really about respecting someone's attitudes towards nudity. There isn't a right or a wrong and it isn't always about being disgusted. By the way, I know some men who would prefer not to see naked women as well. It's not a gender issue but a personal one.

To this list I would add

7) many women have experienced unwanted negative sexual advances. (Ive just realized my point 7 might be the same as Olygirls number 3)

There are stats out there to support this and are very high. Very quickly some blame can be attributed to the women (even by ourselves) how we are dressed (or not dressed in the case of this question), if we have been drinking, if we flirted etc. etc. So being naked could certainly be something we would be wary of. I was 12 years old when a man came up to me in a shopping center and made a lewd comment about my nipples. Idiot me thought he was asking for directions and asked him to repeat himself. I was horrified when I realized what he was saying and for a long time I thought it was the t-shirt that was to blame, or me (I wasnt in bras yet). My experience isnt weird, or that horrific (I would be fine dealing with a comment like that now but as a child it was terrifying). Since then Ive definitely had 2 or 3 experiences I would rather not have had, everytime you would wonder how much of is it "your fault" its a bit personal but that is the truth. Ive male friends, male family, I know lots of great great men. I think if you ask many women they would have stories similiar to these and therefore would be wary of being naked in front of a naked man you dont know in a dark sauna potentially on their own.

A travesty. He fought two women before actually declaring that he was transgender, apparently.

World Rugby have banned trans women from competing in the women's game in the interest of safety.

Despite the ban, developments don't look too promising for actual women unfortunately.

Women are having their skulls caved in by someone who went through puberty as a man. Very progressive

Thanks MsWorwoo it is great to hear and learn this .
Back when I was student some good 20y ago, med studies, 1st year, I remember how we had to pass the exam and back then it was considered 90%accuracy by measuring elbow, subpubicc angle, sacrum angle , size of ileum , sciatic notch angle..
and of course for those who later on went into forensics it was level up (measurements and all that)

What I actually wanted to say, is, even though the person chose to be whichever gender , biologically that person belongs to xx or xy .. and of course 1% when it's hard to determine . (which you said, might not be only the skeleton data but biogenetics which again brings us to either xx or xy)
Elbow? Never used that. Yes, if you combine the full skull and the full pelvis of a mature adult it adds up to 90%, but, many skeletons are sub-adult and most skeletons are not complete, hence the maybe male, maybe female and indeterminate being used much more widely.

And the big point is physical and genetic sex can be opposite, if you want to be binary about this…… and my 3 degrees and 10 years post-doc experience in archaeology and biomolecular archaeology tell me, we should not be binary about this.

It sounds like you have a fascinating job.

Have you ever examined a neanderthal bone or does your research not go back as far as that?

No, no Neanderthals sadly. I only went back as far as the Neolithic.

There seems to be ample material on this thread. Though this is perhaps unfair, since much evidence suggests Neanderthals were quite sophisticated.

Saunas in Switzerland have women only days because there are women who feel uncomfortable around naked men.
This is obvious for most normal people. Of course, it's always easier to attack the messenger rather than the argument

Both the messenger and the "argument" display equal validity in this instance.

What about Port Vale‘s recent signing of defender Mal Benning? His performance at Mansfield shows proven ability.

Parnell was a good human being - he put his people before himself - and paid a price.

The more I see collectivism destroy people , societies and cultures the more I despise it and its cheerleaders. I listened to a great podcast recently with Lev Friedman , Michael Malice and a Yaron Brook (all Russian Jews) - they were debating an instance of a meeting of intellectuals where a communist was present - and respected. What was pointed out was that communists - as a collective - have more blood on their hands over the last 100 years than any other political philosophy - including Nazis - and yet they are disgustingly revered.

I know nothing about him beyond the Wiki page, where Parnell is described "agitator for land reform" and a more even distribution of the land among the entire population (probably in no small part motivated by the Big Famine, which had the population drop by an estimated 20-25%).

How is that conservative? Please explain.
