Good! Guess that means I can leave the cooking, cleaning, laundry, gardening, etc, etc, to hubby since he must be better at them than me.
I am certainly the better cook.

well, the way you put it, they merely found a way to make the best with the little they got.

A good example to give, if you need to explain the difference between problem-oriented and solution-focused.
A simple solution could be for guys to stop wearing tight pants.

Medea , if you'd have to call in for a service 45 chf p.h (cleaning,cooking,gardening....scrubbing floors) you'd choose 'woman' or 'a man' to come over and do the work ?

I'd choose a guy anytime ,no way I'd take the chance to pay and some whinging woman comes over and cant lift this cant do that , would try to make a drama , if she cooks she'll start crying while chopping the 2nd onion, while with a man , most likely it'll go smooth and it'll be efficient. No wonder they excel at these jobs which were wrongly attributed to women

This forum is heading into the nut job territory. Lousy wit compounded by projection. If this was supposed to be funny, it's not. If it's serious, I'll make sure you're banned from this forum forever.

olygirl no need to be so serious and straight away go for the 'cancel culture' battle , threats ..eliminations ) I was only having fun with some prejudice towards both genders if we really look at it and I cant be a bad person if I joke at both genders can I ? )

by the way, I do find it amusing to a degree how everyone is ready to fight someone insignificant (like me) ... But, they all keep it quiet at some huge major issues (because they fear judgement or smthg)

I'd be shocked at information like this one... renaming breast milk into 'human milk' , and not mother but birthing parent ... maternity care should be called perinatal services ... this is where the real combat should be and not what some fairdinkum jokingly wrote ...

All milk is breast milk (that's the etymology of 'mammals'), so that's quite sensible. And it'll cause much less confusion at the supermarket...

Unfortunately, not anymore. Now there's vegan milk. Oats, Soy, etc...

Makes shopping a pain in ass too. Hmm. Is this strawberry flavored yogurt really from a cow? Where's the real stuff?

That's cultural appropriation. They should come up with their own name.

Unless it contains milk from a animal's mammary glands, manufacturers can no longer use the word milk to describe their milk substitute products.

They usually call it 'drink' instead, as in 'oat drink'.

Yeah! They should call it watered oats and soybeans. And they sell it with the milk products.

And the shit even comes from a milk company: https://www.coop.ch/de/lebensmittel/...ntext=category

I've been watching lately this New Normal trend and it seems to be men , transgender men are doing so great as being women? Not only now they'll compete at the olympics in wrestling but in the beauty-fashion industry we've got already some models, like that aussie model Ana Pejic, Victoria's Secret also going in that direction , youtube beauty millionaires are all trans or drag queens .....
We cant say that for women. ? Havent seen where trans gender women are excelling and doing better than men in some professions,sports,vocations..

PS: The new normal logic > " some argue that because she went through male puberty, she will have an unfair advantage over her competitors." Really ? omg those haters

"SPORTS
New Zealand Weightlifter Will Be The First Openly Trans Competitor At The Olympics
June 21, 20211:11 PM ET

New Zealand has named Laurel Hubbard to its women's weightlifting roster for the upcoming Olympics in Tokyo, making her the first openly transgender athlete to compete in the games.

Hubbard, 43, will compete in the category for women over 87 kg, about 192 pounds.

"I am grateful and humbled by the kindness and support that has been given to me by so many New Zealanders," Hubbard said in a statement on Monday. "When I broke my arm at the Commonwealth Games three years ago, I was advised that my sporting career had likely reached its end. But your support, your encouragement, and your aroha [love] carried me through the darkness."

But her selection is not without controversy. Some argue that because Hubbard went through male puberty, she will have an unfair advantage over her competitors."
