Men are simply better at everything?

I've been watching lately this New Normal trend and it seems to be men , transgender men are doing so great as being women? Not only now they'll compete at the olympics in wrestling but in the beauty-fashion industry we've got already some models, like that aussie model Ana Pejic, Victoria's Secret also going in that direction , youtube beauty millionaires are all trans or drag queens .....
We cant say that for women. ? Havent seen where trans gender women are excelling and doing better than men in some professions,sports,vocations..

PS: The new normal logic > " some argue that because she went through male puberty, she will have an unfair advantage over her competitors." Really ? omg those haters

New Zealand Weightlifter Will Be The First Openly Trans Competitor At The Olympics
June 21, 20211:11 PM ET

New Zealand has named Laurel Hubbard to its women's weightlifting roster for the upcoming Olympics in Tokyo, making her the first openly transgender athlete to compete in the games.

Hubbard, 43, will compete in the category for women over 87 kg, about 192 pounds.

"I am grateful and humbled by the kindness and support that has been given to me by so many New Zealanders," Hubbard said in a statement on Monday. "When I broke my arm at the Commonwealth Games three years ago, I was advised that my sporting career had likely reached its end. But your support, your encouragement, and your aroha [love] carried me through the darkness."

But her selection is not without controversy. Some argue that because Hubbard went through male puberty, she will have an unfair advantage over her competitors."

I still am impressed at how things turned out better for men ... For several years we've been hearing how XY have smaller penises then ever and low sperm count ...

All of sudden, what a twist of events, men becoming girl models, athletes , musicians ...

Re: Men are simply better at everything?

Grace Jones is androgyne but if we look at the male actors around her ,they're all really caveman size

So far , haven't seen a trans woman being able to match the size of Jason Momoa, or the guys in this scene or a transgender woman joining the men weightlifting or wrestling olympics team , so once again , men win

Re: Men are simply better at everything?

I really wish that there was a way for trans women to fairly take part in women’s sport, but I don’t see an easy answer. Even if their testosterone is now low, they still had an advantage in body development earlier in life. Same issue with intersex athletes like Caster Semenya. Unfortunately this is a situation where inclusion of the minority is really unfair to the majority.

well, the way you put it, they merely found a way to make the best with the little they got.

A good example to give, if you need to explain the difference between problem-oriented and solution-focused.

Agreed.

If people can't see that trans-women don't have a competitive advantage in most sports then they ought to ask themselves why there are no female-to-male trans competing in mens' sports.

I think a big part of the problem which strikes me as unfair is that up to fairly recently in human history, women were not allowed to compete in many sports at a professional level.
Now that they can, their chance to win and succeed (which can be necessary on a financial level more than just winning) is possibly going to be taken away by trans-women.

They decide whether a trans-women can compete based on testosterone levels. Perhaps they need to include other factors in their decision such as muscle mass?

If people think testing is unfair then they need to realise that body factors are continually assessed in other sports -especially body weight (and hence muscle mass) in boxing, jockey weight alone in horse racing and so on.

I don't think there will be an answer that will make everyone happy but I don't think the current way of doing things is fair to all parties either.

Re: Men are simply better at everything?

Anyone remembers her Conchita Wurst?

Sometimes I think it's all about the same, people who want to succeeds no matter how with minimal effort. Why to work your way out to the top like a donkey if you can outsmart it. Gender swap can help that in many paths from changing the assessment category, increasing your chances to be popular, to having more opportunities to have sex There are many individual motives but all are the same, to get to the goal the easiest way.

In some sense I like it. There are so many absurd privileges so now there's a hack, I can declare myself black lesbian woman (despite my skin remaing as it is, white type) and reap all the benefits, woohoo!!

You really are worried about these things?

I would say you need to inform yourself more, but then that would be futile.

Going after minorities on an anonymous public forum doesn't make anyone look very smart or particularly brave. Maybe it's an "age thing", I take it most people here belong to certain demographics.

Do carry on, since it seems a very safe space for that, but don't expect everyone else to share your opinions or your anxieties. Same goes for OP.

Is it funny? It will only discourage many girls many of whom already have confidence issues from taking part in competitive sport. Womens world track cycling has already been wrecked by strapping Rachel "Rhys" McKinnon winning and taking part.

One solution: set up a separate trans category in sport but allow CIS men and women and trans folk to compete. The trans women may get a taste of their own medicine when they have CIS men competing with them

Confidence issues in sport women? Because of the few potential trans women. With all respect, if you think women lack confidence in sports you're very much mistaken.

I don't see how he's 'going after minorities', I think he's just pointing out the ridiculousness of it all.

if trans women, many of whom have an unfair advantage over cis women, continue to enter and dominate women's sport it will put off women from competing. maybe you misunderstood my post?
