RIP Norm Macdonald

Very sad to hear the passing of Norm Macdonald. He was one on my favorite comedians for the last 30 years.

He had a unique style and delivery, maybe not appealing to all, but brilliant in his own way.

It seems he had been secretly battling cancer for 9 years - perhaps he didn't want his audience to treat him differently.

Anyway, a very sad day for entertainment - he was taken much too soon, here's a few quotes from him for anyone else who is battling this terrible disease.

"When I hear a guy lost a battle to cancer, that really did bother me, that thatís a term. It implies that he failed and that somebody else that defeated cancer is heroic and courageous.Ē

ďIím pretty sure, Iím not a doctor, but Iím pretty sure if you die, the cancer dies at the same time. Thatís not a loss. Thatís a draw.Ē

Re: RIP Norm Macdonald

If you havenít heard it, search YouTube for the Moth joke - considered by many of his fellow comedians one of the greatest jokes ever told. Classic Norm.

He was a legend.

Thanks meloncollie! My OH and I watched the "Moth" clip on Conan O'Brien and it was priceless! What a gifted comedian and thank you for the reference.

RIP Norm!
