Anyway, the bad news is that we are stuck with Joe Biden for four more years as he is the guaranteed winner of the election.

Shocker: Trump did not “steal” the classified documents to profit himself or other nefarious means https://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...ago-documents/
Not shocker: DOJ sat on this until after election

Sounds very much like the damage control Trump and his cronies ran on the Mueller Report - got ahead of it, called it a nothingburger then swamped the media with nonsense to drown out some of the bits that did actually need addressing. Classic.

And you are right, it turned out to be a nothingburger.... inappropriate handling of classified documents but not the baseless accusations that were made at the beginning

A crime was committed, it would be nice to have a clear cut motive to hang it on, but nobody seriously expected the motive to be anything other than "Donny want, Donny take, Donny no share his toys".

| | Re: All about Trump and 2024 | Quote: | | | | | | | | | | Spreading fact-free rumours from the # fakenewsmedia, I thought you knew better.
Even this article states he stole them. It suggests Trump broke federal laws by taking documents that don't belong to him to his house because he wanted to.
The fact he had no plan to make money off of them doesn't exonerate him.
There is nothing in this article claiming Trump is innocent.
So where is this DOJ statement that you claim was "unsat on" after the election?

Many of the other conservative bootlickers should fall in line soon.
New York Post. Wednesday, November 16, 2022
With just 720 days to go
before the next election, a
Florida retiree made the
surprise
announcement
Tuesday night that he was
running for president.
In a move no political
pundit saw coming, avid
golfer Donald J. Trump
kicked things off at Mar-a-
Lago, his resort and clas-
sified-documents library.
Trump, famous for gold-
plated lobbies and for fir-
ing people on reality tele-
vision, will be 78 in 2024.
If elected, Trump would
tie Joe Biden as the oldest
president to take office.
His cholesterol levels are
unknown, but his favorite
food is a charred steak
with ketchup.
He has stated that his
qualifications for office
include being a
"stable
genius."
Trump also served as
the 45th president.

Anyways, I don't want it either..... I think it's time for fresh air and that is who I will vote for in the primaries
But if he storms through the primaries and wins the nomination, then it doesn't matter what Fox News or NY Post write now, they will make up and go on to the elections....

Ask any police detective and in real life, they have no interest in finding motives, most crimes are alcohol or drug fueled or due to peer pressure or simply taking an opportunity. It is often important to prove intent but there is no legal requirement to prove a motive.

A federal judge knocked some holes in the DeSantis anti-woke legislation | Quote: | | | | “’It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen,’ and the powers in charge of Florida’s public university system have declared the State has unfettered authority to muzzle its professors in the name of ‘freedom,’” Walker wrote, citing George Orwell’s novel “1984.”
In his ruling Thursday, Walker determined those policies violate First Amendment free speech protections along with due-process rights in the 14th Amendment on college campuses and the provisions were impermissibly vague.
“The law officially bans professors from expressing disfavored viewpoints in university classrooms while permitting unfettered expression of the opposite viewpoints,” wrote Walker.
“Defendants argue that, under this Act, professors enjoy ‘academic freedom’ so long as they express only those viewpoints of which the State approves. This is positively dystopian.”
“If our ‘priests of democracy’ are not allowed to shed light on challenging ideas, then democracy will die in darkness,” he added. “But the First Amendment does not permit the State of Florida to muzzle its university professors, impose its own orthodoxy of viewpoints and cast us all into the dark.” | | | | | | This user would like to thank marton for this useful post: | |

Even Trump's own prior VP is openly refusing to support his run for a second term...
"Former Vice President Mike Pence told CNN's Jake Tapper that the Republican Party needs to move on from former President Donald Trump during a CNN town hall." https://edition.cnn.com/videos/polit...p-2024-vpx.cnn
Not really surprising, considering the fact that Trump basically sat back and watched as his supporters threatened to hang him.
It's probably just a matter of time until Trump begins to turn on the GOP in general as more and more of its members refuse to support him. Someone needs to explain to Grandpa that the only thing he is a victim of is himself.
