I assure you it wouldn't be half as much as it bothers you and plenty on here that we have PM Johnson at the moment

I still remember the dismay on this forum when anti-Semite, Russia loving Jeremy Corbyn was beaten at the last election!
Source please.

Re: Johnson getting a hammering in PMQT

Well the Questions was asked last night on Question Time- should we forget about Party Gate? And the overwhelming response was a clear NO. And that ridiculous argument, about the rules not being workable so shouldn't have been made- was also pushed by one attendee. It didn't wash, for sure.

The Daily Heil is stirring stupid, nonsense, as per usual- and some swallow it, lock, stock ...

Back to Lebedev made into a Lord- the Commons' Enquiry requested a full explanation by today. Do you think that will happen. And do you think we should forget about it too?

It's all in here, Mr Corbyn has also had the whip removed due to his comments on the report.

https://www.equalityhumanrights.com/...bour-party.pdf

If I remember correctly there was one or more threads on this forum devoted to the subject.

I don't particularly want to take this thread off topic as it was discussed already to death. I'll just try to keep it simple by saying in my view, by the company he's kept, his actions and words, and the dealings with the anti-semitic problem within the Labour party as outlined in the EHRC report, he is anti-semitic. I think this is based on a simplified world view rather than racial prejudice, although it makes no different to the outcome.

I've found the threads:

Jeremy Corbyn suspended from Labour Party

https://www.englishforum.ch/internat...our-party.html

Jeremy Corbyn refuses to denounce terrorist 'friends' Hamas and Hezbollah

(following the final few pages of this thread is a tough ask as so many people have deleted their accounts)

https://www.englishforum.ch/internat...hezbollah.html

That is all true.

However, check out the etymology of the word antisemetism. It was first coined by an antisemite.

From the Encylopedia Brittanica:

Quote:
anti-Semitism, hostility toward or discrimination against Jews as a religious or racial group. The term anti-Semitism was coined in 1879 by the German agitator Wilhelm Marr to designate the anti-Jewish campaigns under way in central Europe at that time.

Although the term now has wide currency, it is a misnomer, since it implies a discrimination against all Semites. Arabs and other peoples are also Semites, and yet they are not the targets of anti-Semitism as it is usually understood.

Nazi anti-Semitism, which culminated in the Holocaust, had a racist dimension in that it targeted Jews because of their supposed biological characteristics—even those who had themselves converted to other religions or whose parents were converts. This variety of anti-Jewish racism dates only to the emergence of so-called “scientific racism” in the 19th century and is different in nature from earlier anti-Jewish prejudices.

BBC reporting on the story now. Given Durham police are the same force that didn’t give Dominic Cummings a fine, it’s unlikely there’ll be any action taken. Just highlights the different standards in place between Durham police and the Met. Doesn’t make Labour any less hypocritical though.

Angela Rayner was at a lockdown event with Starmer

Not at all. If you bother to read your link you will see this is very different to the birthdays and leaving parties Johnson attended. Presence of a beer is not incompatible with a work event unless you are American.

Re: Johnson getting a hammering in PMQT

So, backk to bunga bunga parties with Russian oligarchs in Umbria, and Lebedev made a Lord, having direct access to UK 'democracy' - and in this context. Yes, I agree, it is much more serious than Partygate, or some silly MP watching porn during Parliamentary sessions in the House.

https://youtu.be/aOk5-ckKsXM

Again, the Government has not complied with direct instructions to explain the above and why and how Johnson was strongly advised not to go ahead with Lebedev's Peerage for essential State security reasons, by yesterday. VERY serious indeed

Claims that Angela Rayner wasn’t present with Keir Starmer during lockdown beers were ‘a genuine mistake’ says Labour - a bit like the supposed genuine mistakes they’ve spent three months demanding other people resign over.

Re: Johnson getting a hammering in PMQT

Like the above? And massive inflation and price rises? The collapse of exports? Large firms leaving the UK and all the job losses- that sort of thing.

When Rees-Mogg agrees that the UK actually checking what comes into the UK from EU would be a massively costly disaster- you know thing are going very badly.

With arouns half the english local election results the Cons are dowm 124 seats and 6 councils, Lab up 38 seats, Lib Dem gained 57 and the Greens 23.

Not surprising the sleazy Johnson lost so many, Labour showing is poor; roll on the next votes.

Re: Johnson getting a hammering in PMQT

Well well well. So if he gets a fine we can all be sure that he'll "do the honorable thing" and resign?

Goes without saying that if confirmed this is a complete waste of police time and resources. Whole charade could have been avoided if Covid regulations had been guidance rather than law (laws which Sir Keir Starmer also voted for).

Exclusive: Sir Keir Starmer to be investigated by Durham police over 'beergate'
