There are a lot of things I admire about Israel but there are also a lot of things I hate about the way israelis behave.
You'd think that with all those intelligent people around they would have figured out that it is better to live in peace with their neighbours. Clearly they haven't figured that out yet.
BTW it's lucky they can export some of their technology because it looks like their home market isn't all that "new technology friendly":

Well, when your neighbours are crazed fanatics who want to drive you into the sea... I find Arab attitudes in general are 95% responsible for this whole mess.

As for Palestine... never existed as an Arab nation, however existed as a Jewish nation for over 2000 years.
Also, the original size of Israel was tiny, on land already owned by Jews. Arabs did not even accept that, started a war... lost... end of story.
You mistake nation and state Canadian_dude....Palestine has existed as a nation since the Philistines...pre-biblical history, Palestinians aren't "arabs" despite speaking arabic...arabs come from Arabia, and no matter how you look at it 2000 years is a ridiculous Christo-centered timeline to put on any "Jewish Nation"...time line is between 4 and 6 thousand years...or 61 years.

I am a huge history buff and everything I've read so far indicates it's all Arab's fault.
