You expect me to read the whole website?

The claim was that settlers never get punished. I don't think that's true. Is there something on that website relevant to that claim?
The israeli center for human rights makes the same claim.
If you have also references of settlers punished for their violence in occupid territories I'll be more than happy to read it.

Where's Hoppy?!??!? How can we have an intelligent discussion without Hoppypedia
cutting'n'pasting a whole stack of tangential garbage that she hasn't bothered (Ok,
I'm being kind here) to read!?!?!

First one from google that popped up. There are a load more obviously. Oh, and this is for throwing stones a car. There aren't enough jail cells in the world if we applied the same standards to Palestinians.

How can you post on EF if you don't have an internet connection ?

Once you manage to log in, try this obscure site: www.google.com

type "settler convicted".

see for example result : http://www.encyclopedia.com/doc/1P2-1292981.html

Now, what about the wager ? are you willing to put your money where your opinion is ?

I believe there's a family reunion covering the Persian, Kazhakh, Azeri, Canadian, Jewish, Szechuan and Malay branches of her family.

Soul food made the claim that Israel is stopping the Palestinians from fighting terror - you, soul food and the others can not provide examples to prove it, so you go on a tangent and quote a convicted fraud and an Anti semite.

Please provide a single (one, 1, less than 2 - in case you need clarification) for Netanyahu "encouraging and helping to fund" Hamas. How about a wager to make it more interesting ?
Olmert who has access to all the proofs accused on Feb 17, 2007 at the Knesset said "Netanyahu established Hamas, gave it life, freed Sheikh Yassin and gave him the opportunity to blossom"

Re: Israel - Palestine - Part 2

If you had bothered to follow the link ( or google yourselkf) , you would have seen it pointed to a news clip from the washington post.

Prove to me that Netanyahu supported Hamas and I'll give 50 CHF to your favourite charity. If you can't do that, you'll do the same to one of mine.

Deal ?

btw - it has to be a quote from a reliable source, and not a quote from a politician speech. I don't know about you - but I stopped taking politicians speeches at face value when I stopped believing in the tooth fairy.

Do you see a better reference than the US Dept. of State....
Please read in page 2 of this report, they write clearly:
"During the late 1980s, Israel lent tacit support to Hamas in an effort to check the growing authority of a secular and nationalist PLO."

Please send the 50chf to Sikkuy.

What about all the Swiss,Irish,French,German,Spanish,Polish,Scottish, Cantonese in her family??

I thought I'd warrant an invite at least for my Sinoecosseprussibasquhessinederlafranirlanswizz roots.

And (of course) my 8,714 different passports.

Where in the this document is netanyahu shown to support Hamas ?

p.s - tacit support is what you do for Palestinian terrorists now.

I claimed in post 808 that Shamir, Sharon and Netanyahu followed a policy to fight PLO with Hamas. Now I give you the report saying that in the late 80's (under shamir and sharon) a tacit support was provided by Israel.

I understand that this statement shakes your beliefs but that's life. I never claimed that Netanyahu alone supported Hamas.

I think you just don't want to give the 50chf....and flesh is OK as long as it is kosher.

Re: Israel - Palestine - Part 2

We agreed on bet:
you had to prove a simple sentence "netanyahu did x" - so far you failed to prove that sentence.

your claim looks "Joe, Jack, and John did x" - then you point to something that says "joe may have done something". You show nothing about jack & john.

Actually mate, he has you pants down, bent over the barrel and your hands
ties to your wrists. You need to come up with something a lot more tangible
than an opposition politician's lashing-out.

Cough up the 50, or come up with something credible to back your assertion.

For what its worth, I really dgas either way; i'm just allergic to arrogant twunts
who stupidly think that none of us will follow and read links, and then bring a
bit of intellect and insight to bear for ourselves.

You can pay the 50 bucks here to Save The Children, but I bet you won't.

I didn't spend long looking, but here's an example of a settler conviction.

There's plenty more out there.

I'm not at all suggesting that there's equal treatment for Palestinians and Israelis . . . I'm just objecting to your use of the word 'never'.
