What do you believe?

It's interesting what people believe on the forum, since this might inform much of what they say on other posts. I find this subject fascinating.

Wasn't this one done before?

Can't we have a poll of favoured crackpot conspiracies?

Re: What do you believe?

I was thinking about how to define my beliefs the other day as it happens.

I was brought-up RC and although believe in many of the tennants of that faith, I am not really a practicing RC in the strictest sense of the word (and doctrine ).

So I would say I am a full time Christian, but "part-time" RC...

Re: What do you believe?

Why not? I just finished watching the film Agora. It's the (nearly) true story of the woman philosopher Hypatia, an atheist, who worked out in the 4th century that the earth was round, that it orbited the sun, and that it moved in an elipse not a circle. Then the Christians came and stoned her for heresy and it took 1200 years for Kepler to "discover" the same truths again. In many ways this set back the progress of humanity by more than a millenium. I wonder what the world would have been like if not for this and other things like it.

Why is one option in italics?

Why are the other options not of the same form? I am nearly absolutely sure that.....

Loading the poll I think.

Don't know if you're being serious about the italics - the one you voted for shows in italics.
