| | North Korea, South Korea, Marilyn Monroe - We didn't start the fire, lalalalalal http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/8589507.stm | Quote: | | | | About 40 sailors are missing after a South Korean navy ship sank near the border with North Korea. The patrol vessel, with 104 people aboard, sank after an unexplained explosion tore through its hull.... South Korean officials played down earlier reports that it may have been the result of an attack by North Korea.
There were reports that another South Korean ship had fired shots toward an unidentified ship in the North following the alleged torpedo attack.
One report, quoting the joint chiefs of staff, said the target turned out to be a flock of birds.
| | | | | I bet they were filthy communist birds.
Judging by the fact they nearly went to war over a Poplar tree Axe_Murder_Incident I reckon they might need to start bringing Alan Alda out of retirement to play Hawkeye again.

About time that South Korea releases its robot army... (although I read they stopped the program after the "hands up" feature did not work reliably... I wonder how they found that out.) |

Don't believe everything you see or read. I just called my mate Byeoung-keun in N.Korea and he told me that the alleged N.Korean rusted torpedo that is being displayed is either a Hollywood prop or from some war museum |

I can't imagine they faked it up to be honest.
I wonder why they aren't jumping up and down and making more of this though.

I think North Koreans would run out of petrol within a day if they start a war. http://www.politico.com/politico44/p...98e94c867.html |

North Korea is the original terrorist gangster state.
Look at the info box called North Korea Attacks http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/world/asi...c/10134613.stm
Any of those incidents is casus belli - of course they are still technically at war - but with Seoul in artillery range of the North there would be steep price to pay for confronting the aggression.
