Poor Will, had to get his mum's old engagement ring, couldn't afford a new one. I really think that was an odd thing to do. But she really is pretty and that is definitely good for them royal genes...If you look at the deja vu pics, I'd say yes, but the new ones are prettier

You try and get a meeting with somebody the day after her birthday. I tried once and I was told by this very respectable 50 something IT consultant that he would be recovering in some random canal in Amsterdam the day after so there was no chance....lol.

I don't question his bride choice. He can marry his chi wau wau, another bloke, or whoever he likes.

My observation was, upward social mobility via marriage is very rare in British upper class. This marriage is unusual.
So I am wondering what could be the impact of this.

What a shame that another young lady doesn't learn from what so recently happened. The press will just destroy her, as they did Diana.

My guess is because she is quite hot.

Also is this really a class thing? She went to the same University and was educated at Marlborough college, she is hardly working class.

There is no question, fundamental changes are taking place throughout society all over the world. Old values are of little significance.

She looks pretty freaking plain. Im sure she has a really nice personality though

Maybe if he's marrying someone he loves rather than someone he is told to love (like his father did ), the marriage might have a fighting chance of success rather than her developing an eating disorder, breaking down in tears at public engagements and going off with the first guy who tips her the wink, and William following in his father's footsteps and reigniting some secret old flame.

I hope so.
