Canadian lost in the fog for 12 years

Hi
I've been here (in CH) a while now, but am new to the forum. I honestly never realized there were so many English-speakers out there. I stumbled on to the English forum a few days ago and am having lots of fun looking through the posts! I've realized that I am pretty much living in my own little world in this little, sometimes unheard-of country (a few people back home in Canada believe I live in Germany or Sweden!)

I am a stay-at-home mom with 4 girls and I live in a nice little community just outside of Zurich. In some ways it feels a little like Wisteria Lane....the neighbours are always nice, helpful and friendly....

I generally really enjoy living in Switzerland even though it took me a while to adjust at the beginning. I grew up in Montreal, met a Swiss guy, moved here, worked for a while, had a few kids. I'm not sure I'll be able to offer much advice to any forum users, but you never know!

All the best for 2011

Chris

Hi Chris,

well I bet you can offer me some good advice - I'm going to be new to Zurich and new to being a full time mom in a few months!
