Greetings from Thalwil

Hi Everybody

I'm in the process of moving to Thalwil to join my man who's been here for some time (2 1/2 years)......I'm new to the Englishforum but have used it a lot to research all the admin and so on to help with the move - there's some great information!!
Looking forward to finally having a base here and enjoying the great outdoors.

My pots and pans (and everything else) will arrive in thalwil soon...

Hello and Welcome to the forum!

Hope your move goes well and that you settle in well.

I have just moved over from the U.K. in November with our two kids to join my hubby, so I know what its like!!

Enjoy your new home.

Welcome to Switzerland and EF.

I also live in Thalwil and it's a great spot.

Oh, and I have a new neighbor since a few days. It would be you maybe? Sonnenbergst.... ?

If not, sorry!

Re: Greetings from Thalwil

Everything is great so far - probably because I haven't got to the point of moving my pots and pans (and everything else....) into the flat. Can't wait

@claire1978 - thanks for that

@argus - settling in nicely thanks.

@Overflow - afraid I'm not your new neighbour. I certainly enjoy Thalwil too!

I moved to Rüschlikon from the UK in November and really enjoy life here as I am sure you will too. If you fancy a chat once you do arrive just sent me a message.

Good luck with the move.

Re: Greetings from Thalwil

Hi girls, a big hello and welcome to Switzerland. Like yourselves I moved here from the UK back in November with my 2 year old son to be with my husband. We are living in Ruschlikon if anyone wants any advice (although I don't know how helpful I will be), chat or just coffee.

Harvey

Re: Greetings from Thalwil

Hello Girls!

Think it would be good for us all to meet up for a coffee and chat somewhere, since we are all new here and I'm sure we will have plenty to talk about!

If you fancy meeting up PM and we can arrange it.

Enjoy your weekend girls!

Bye Claire
