New in Zurich
Hi Everyone,

I just arrived in Zurich yesterday, to start my first job out of university. I'm working in Kusnacht and living in Tiefenbrunnen for the moment whilst I lok for my own place.

Thanks very much to everyone for all the useful stuff that's posted in the forums, and I hope to meet some of you at the social events!

Welcome to Zurich.

Good for you for planning to learn Swiss German (yeah I was creeping your profile).

I suggest to listen closely to people on the busses and trams. You'll find a lot of standard phrases---just practice repeating exactly how they sound, and you'll be speaking like the Swiss in no time.
