I'm 27 and will be moving to Lausanne from England in a couple of weeks to work at the University for a few months. A bit worried about my abysmal French, but otherwise excited. This forum seems great for sharing infromation and meeting new people, so I thought I'd sign up.

Hi, I work at EPFL and can't speak any French!! On the campus it's not a problem. Outside in the city I offer to speak German but they would rather use English!!! Do you have somewhere live ? Finding appartments can be a nightmare!!
