Not new in Zurich, but new to here!

Hi,

I have lived basically lived here all my life, but am continuously missing England, the quirky english sense of humour and not to forget that openness.
This way I was hoping to be able, to make new friends and also help People to maybe settle in, due to my experience!

So don't hesitate to get in touch!

Hi Feather and welcome to the forum

I really like your comments about the English sense of humour and openess. Very, very true (I am a tad biased on that by the way ).

I checked your profile and note you are half British. So do you get to visit the UK much at all to see family, friends and for holidays etc?

With your experience of being raised here and your general outlook, combined with your desire to help others on the forum who are new and not so new to Switzerland , I am sure you will be an asset.

Have fun and make sure you check out the Social Events section where there are always lots of activities going on. You will make new friends in no time!

Looking forward to reading your posts.

Cheers!

Re: Not new in Zurich, but new to here!

Hi,

Thanks for your post, I'm sort of new to Zurich (arrived in October last year) and I definitely miss the openness of my home (Canada)! If you're into meeting new people, feel free to PM me and we could meet up for a coffee or drink sometime.

Ciao!
