Ron Gitschier has no particular reputation at present
Greetings from Palm Coast, Florida, US.

Hello, Everyone!

This is my first post here in the Switzerland English Forum; I have not been to Switzerland yet, the closest to the border I've been is Memmingen, Germany. Sometime I will change that and see Switzerland in all it's splendor and perhaps get to know some of it's citizens.

That said, I don't know a lot about Switzerland, and will try to change that in the coming months and years. I'm confident it will be a very enlightening experience...

If anyone is in the Daytona Beach or Palm Coast, Florida US area, I'd be more than happy to meet over coffee just in a social setting. Maybe through conversation I can learn about Switzerland and it's people.

Ron G.
PC, FL, USA.

Ha Ha Ha...... I love to see a developing steep learning curve in action !!!

Mate, welcome to the Forum !!!

No, I'm not from your part of the world but many here are.

Switzerland is a great place, but it will take a bit more than the odd cup of coffee to get your head around how this place works.

You will find this forum extremely useful for information via the "Search" function. Most things you are about to experience have mostly been dealt with before.... and where you can't find the info, someone else here will most likely be able to help you.

Good luck settling in.
