Not that I'm indian..... but that's plain racist ma man!
No it isn't. The guy spelled words the way he pronounces them and emulated an Indian accent with his txtspeak. Might sound funny to you, but it is very hard to understand for somenbody who is not a native speaker - like for example me. So we have the rule here to use "proper English", no matter where you are from. Nothing to do with racism at all, but a lot of common sense.

Agree with the sentiment here. Groaning anyways tend to be the resort of the coward so I wouldn't be too bothered to be honest.

Hi there,

I'm German, 28 years old and moved to Bülach (20 mins north of Zurich) about 2 years ago...it's crazy how time flies by....
I work at the airport of Zurich and know a lot of people who also work there...but I now wanna get to know people who don't work there and have a "normal" life..this might sound a bit weird but my working hours are not normal and that makes it also hard finding friends

Send me a PM if u're interested in getting to know me

Re: German girl is looking for new friends

how did i miss this jewel of a thread?

As most people say, just pop up to an event.

few pointers that I fond helpful:

1.- Be early. EFer's are subgroupers, they tend to cluster in little groups, so you need to be early and see the flow. Some other people have felt somewhat unwelcome but it is mostly because is so difficult to drop on a group an generate instant rapport.
2.- Bring a prop or a friend. Better yet, bring a female friend who can be used to distract the hungry wolves that roam the EF.
3.- Don't ask who people are in the forum. Well I mean you could, but maybe you don't want to know. reality van be very different from what you perceive on this forum.
4.- Tell Billhardie to "put another shrimp in a barbie". you get a free dance
5.- Don't feed the mexicans. Tell you why Later.

Overall we are a friendly group, and you'll have fun if you ever decide to go. Just make sure you ask who the organizer will be wearing cause sometimes you go around like a fool.

If necessary bring a brown paper bag to cover your head so you don't feel ashamed.

Also, (this is not OP) Do not use textspeak. Is t3h ghey.... Lolcat pics are ok

I say: let it rain (with groans and red blobs)! I feel a bit ostracized...

Besides, maybe we're being set-up here and we are the ones that should be worried (ya' know?... strive to get the apple... )...
Reminds me of this joke:
<<At a party, a guy cornered a girl and whispered something in her ear.
"You filthy pervert!" she shrieked. "What makes you think I'd let you do a thing like that to me?"
Then her eyes narrowed and she said: "Unless you're the s.o.b. that stole my diary...">>
